I have a few words(few sure they are) to say, chances should be given, I mean, humans live to experiment with others with stuff, I say it would be... interesting if rebirth was given the chance to judge... and a question with it, WHY do you guys say it will take way much more to get a simfile uploaded because of his arrival IF he ever gets in?.

I'm going to call bull on the stuff gamepro was saying about "when ffr was fun" and whatnot. FFR is way better now than back then when song updates were sparse and unpredictable. File quality back then was ****, and that's not a good thing. Every time a new file came out people would laugh about it.

The recent emphasis on quality is to be welcomed, as long as creativity isn't sacrificed (and I don't really think it will be).

i don't see how creativity is being squashed... all the time i'm seeing unique files, and every time i'm like "wow... this file is totally different than any file currently in ffr. that makes me like it so much more."

not my fault that y'all keep picking songs that are straight 170 bpm stream and are therefore uncreative and boring by nature.

IMO, jimerax is THE best stepfile artist on ffr. number of reasons... 1. basically every file he sends is amazing with no edits needed. 2. he's willing to step ANYTHING... hard, easy, fast, slow, 12ths, 16ths, whatever. you give him a song, he'll step it. 3. his steps FLOW WITH THE MUSIC, which is WHY they are accepted every time. when the music calls for hard sections, he gives hard sections... when it doesn't, he doesn't. he lets the music dictate his steps and not vice versa.

clearly there are others who do 1 & 3, but i can't think of another person who fits all 3 of those criteria. y'all could learn something from him, more than anyone. not to mention... he doesn't compain if we do have a rare minor tweak. he takes our advice, fixes it up, and sends it back. i've yet to have a jimerax file that isn't 99% awesome the 1st time and 100% awesome the 2nd time. plus... he steps quickly. usually a turnaround in 24 hours on songs you ask him to step.

so, my final words on this... be more like jimerax.

Eh whatever. You all have your opinions on who the best simfile artist is, so I'm not going to say anything there. Of course, being a simfile artist myself, I would think that my simfiles are probably the best.

I noticed that Love Colored Master Spark isn't in. What's wrong with that now? I fixed what needed to be fixed a month ago...

BB Revenge is like a high 5.5, we've got one coming

If you guys want hard songs in the game, find songs that warrant hard steps. i.e. not 110 BPM love songs. Try 200+ BPM stuff, and it won't feel overstepped and crappy to play.

Making a 160-180 BPM 5.5 that's actually good and fun is REALLY hard, you've got to find some pretty damn intense music in order to justify hard steps at that kind of BPM

QFT. any song with all blue arrows sucks bad. Im not saying Tass and Shash are right 100%, but the old stuff stinks like my socks.

And it's not like I care for some of the newer songs either (first token wasnt fun to me) but most everybody likes the new songs, and they WWHHHAAAYYY better then the old stuff.
