Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Closed)
I don't really care about effort, I care about results. Some of the most widely enjoyed, classic files had about zero effort put into them. FFR's Vertex Beta was made in about 10 minutes, I know because I saw Shash do it. It's still one of the most played VCs in the game and is considered a benchmark for streaming skills. Simply put, it's a really fun file that fits into FFR very well.
It's all about results. Do people enjoy the file, is it properly synced and fit into the overall scope of the game? If it does I don't give a shit how much effort was put in, it's a good file.Comment

It was one of the most played vcs because at one point I unlocked on oni lol
Some quickly stepped files can be fun but for the most part when you rush a file its noticeable and the file suffers. To get results you put effort that's how it works

Yep. We should have some unlockable mid-high FGO dumps.

Gunkienen Tarusuigin? pretty sure I noticed some people saying that they thought it should have been an 11, so it can't be that high... (granted, it's a bit denser than your normal jumpstream)
still... it is notable issue, there really isn't much elseComment

Every judge here is entitled to his/her opinion. They are judges because we think their opinion is somehow more valid than that of any other player, otherwise that player would be a judge.
Some judges like JS, some don't, that's why we have more than one judge...
It's an indirect democracy, people can complain about the choices and decisions the judges make, but in the end we chose them.Last edited by SKG_Scintill; 05-8-2012, 01:21 PM.

Gonna set my expectations really low for my file and hope for a rating of at least 2.0/10AMA: http://ask.fm/benguino

Same, I knew for a fact it wasn't passing, but I sent it in anyway for hardcore pro tips. I just hope people focus more on the file and not the bad cut I made on it.
I would be a very sad Ariel if I didn't get >2.0 though, I don't think the file sucks THAT bad.

Yeah, I was mostly looking forward to tips, considering it's my first file, I don't expect it to pass, to be honest, I'll be happy if it gets a "decent" non-passing grade. Hopefully I can work off the errors pointed out in my file from the batch notes in order to make the file a viable candidate for the next batch.AMA: http://ask.fm/benguino
