You do this after you've played enough to be good. You should do it when you NEED to do it, not force it. Personally, I'd near fail most songs if the whole screen were showing, so screenshrinking is a necessity for me.

Agreed. On easier songs it's easier to get away with non screen shrinking. But harder ones require you to shrink in order to have a competitive score.

I tried screen shrinking on a song I found really easy to test it and I ended up losing badly. =/ Trust my brain to be different. xD;

Screen shrinking I've never tried, but my friends seem to do better that way.

I thought screenshrinking was useless...
Then I tried "She bangs (William Hung version), and.. omg... with screenshriking I almost FC'd it (2 miss ), and without screenshrink I get 20 miss =)

Screen-shrinking helps a lot more for songs that are harder to FC. Easier songs are kind of harder to do with screenshrinking, imo. But screenshrinking 'does' help.

Edit: Silver Metalic, screen shrinking is basically what it says; you shrink the screen.

I dont really know what the scoring system that is up there, maybe the total scroe or something but in the FFR the game the scoreing goes as follows:

50 for each perfect
75 for each good
5 for each average
-10 for each miss
-5 for each boo

I'm not sure why you said that there were so much more points the there actualle where, but maybe you are right and I'm not, I've only been playing for 0.3 years so please dont take this in any offence. I just want to know what the deal is.

I'm pretty sure that it is only 25 points for each good, because a perfect is better than a good.

That is the "in game" scoring system. At the end of the song, you get more points for each perf, good, etc. My scoring system reflects the TOTAL score rather than the in game and post game scoring systems separately.
