I recognize that.

Over-usage of anything gets a little stupid.

Such as the word "like".

e.g. "Like, oh my god! That was like, the best I've ever gotten in like, 3 days! Like, yeah. Do you like my example? Like, totally."

Then why is there a swear filter at some sites? If they didn't take it seriously, they wouldn't care if people cussed, and really, swear filters aren't exactly that useful.

You could make a case that swear filters are there to avoid people cussing a lot, but many people can still find a way to break the swear filter and still get the same basic message across.

Examples: fcuk, fvck, f*ck
