All the people on the news are calling it a pandemic to get more views. A pandemic has to be a new thing. Flu has been around for quite a while.
Well, it has the potential to become a pandemic since it's happened before with swine flu. Flu strains EVOLVE in case you didn't know. Besides, the reason it's become so popular on the news is not because they want attention, it's for global awareness.

The chances are pretty decent actually. I mean, the chances of on person getting it are the same as the chances for 2 getting it assuming that person left when they were sick. =/
I wouldn't call it a pandemic though. An out break, ok. But a pandemic is slightly extreme.

Placements are final, custom will not be moved to D6, just because he is good at jacks, and mediocre at just about every other FMO in the game.
Thanks to my chemistry teacher, I'm prepared with knowledge to fight the flu =D
It's not swine flu, but human swine flu: the virus has mutated from harmless to pig viruses to ones that can affect humans and are like a combination or something of avian flu, and many types of swine flu. (African/European/Asian, if i remember correct from what my chem teacher told me lol) The virus likes colder weather, so where I live it won't be too much of a hassel. (Mexico City is a bit crisp still, along with New York so the virus is pretty happy lol :/) Should subside in the summer, but it's probably a RNA mutation virus, which means it will keep changing, and any vaccination that could be made from now on might be rendered somewhat ineffective.
And if you get any flu symptoms, go to your doctor immediately and get tested, as the two medicines (pretty sure it's two) will only work against the viruses to weaken the symptoms within the first 48 hours.
