Correct me if I'm wrong, but according to the local news, the flu is hitting major cities, yet the place people would expect it is farming areas such as the mid-west. Kinda ironic...

Since it's more likely the strand of virus spreading is that of a human to human form and not pig to human, so the denser the population, the higher the risk.

There's already been a couple of cases in Nova Scotia here in Canada, I live in New Brunswick (right above it). I'm not worried, sickness comes and goes like the weather here, plus the cases were mild.

Personally I'm not worried, it's like every other "pandemic" the passed couple of decades, since it's affecting our population chances of our scientists working together for a cure are higher if the dangers increase, much like the SARS incident. Really it's all a media scare for better press and views, I say sit back and wait it through like, SARS, Avian and West Nile.

Also for those that have or know people that have Swine Flu, I wish you the speediest recovery.
