Virus PLEASE stop the double posting! I mean I come to read the thread and you double post. I just can't ignore this.

You would see a lot more of me being an asshole. Like I used to be back before I made this rule suggestion to the rest of the staff.

@Virus: I bet you're hitting the "Quote" button to reply. Perfectly fine. When you type one of those replies, copy the entire post and paste it into the second reply. That way you're not double-posting.

I used to be annoyed at people who double post, but when I really thought about it, how much does it really matter? Are you just complaining about double posts for the sake of complaining or if you have an actual issue against it? In his case, he quoted two different people and he is justified in that he doesn't know how to multi-quote, as operationstrawbarry has mentioned. It's not like said "hey", "how", "are", "you", "doing" without a reason in 5 different posts. As long as you have a good reason to double post, then the second post is not too much of a waste compared to a post telling another to stop double posting.

Really? Because ignorant statements like this doesn't make you any better than people that have bad grammar. In fact, this statement is kind of prejiduce on certain levels. Just because you have bad grammar doesn't mean you're not intelligent. So are you saying people that have bad grammar are stupid? I've seen worse grammar on some other forums, really. I try to get used to it.
What I don't like is when this one user always posted in stanzas, like poetry. Kinda like:

strawberry is my favorite food
you should like it
what about you
do you like strawberries

I never saw the poster make a complete sentence ever.

Usually when I talk on the internet, whether I'm writing an e-mail, instant messaging someone, or posting in the forums, I try to use good grammar to some extent. For me, it's a personal choice to help me get my message across without as much confusion as to what I'm saying. Usually bad grammar doesn't annoy me too much as long as I can understand what they're saying.

I do use AIMisms sometimes, but I really only use the common ones like lol, brb, and wtf. Usually that only happens when I amusing AIM or MSN Messenger.

It's not elitism. It's a standard. And if someone is trying to learn a language, you would think they'd use words properly and not shorten them to 'u' or 'y' or 'r'. You can't learn a language like that.
