One of the comments says it was a set-up, with the same guy doing it in other places and having it videotaped for him. Wonder if this carries any truth to it?.

Well, he sounded like one of those conspiracy theory wacko nut-jobs, and those conspiracy theory wacko nut-jobs have been known to do crazy-ass **** like kill people, especially when they won't obey the law. I would've done the same thing, especially to protect a high political figure, who's policies and views I agree and support.

The guy has a long history of videotaping himself making practical jokes. It is clearly unknown whether or not he videotaped it himself or if someone else did it for him.
They did not arrest him until he was tazered by a police officer. They had six guys attempting to take him out of the room; he resisted so they tackled him.

He had NO weapons on him. For someone such as a senator to be in room, they had to have metal detectors. He had his hands up in the air which meant he had no weapons.
