Re: Ap Exams :-$
I only took the AP Gov exam. It's the only government class that most sophomores take in my school.
Not really too hard, considering the amount of time I studied for it. =d
Probably got a 5.. or a really high 4. I'd be kinda mad if I got a 4 actually. xDWe climb up a lot of ladders, and fall down a lot of chutes.Originally posted by Gundam-Dudemy semen is flying through the air as we speak

Is that AB?
I just finished BC...probably got a 5, but wouldn't be surprised if I got a 4. Not bad for studying on a plane back from D.C. the night before (Nat'l Science Bowl ftw!!!).

Man, all you people taking multiple AP exams, I'm jealous. My school only offers three AP subjects - Calc AB, Bio, and English Lit. I took the Calc AB test today and it was kind of difficult, but I still think I got a 4 or 5.
I won't be able to take AP Bio next year because I need to take physics for college, and since my school only has five periods in a day I can't fit both in. I'll probably take AP English Lit though.
But yeah, reading this thread made me realize just how horrible my school's academic curriculum actually is. Especially considering no one's passed any AP exam in my school before. I'll be the first with Calc AB.Comment

Yeah, it's AB. I should have taken the advantage of taking BC with my recent teacher since she is awesome.Best FGO: Time To Eye{3-0-0-0}

BC Calc was bad
I forgot how to do Taylor Series rofl...
Does a third degree taylor series include the "0th" term (i.e. a third degree would have four parts?)
I hope I did that right...
Other than that I think I might have gotten a 5
Now, english paper, english test, chinese test, then study for AP US history on Friday whoop whoopComment

well.. idk what to tell you.. I'm a freshman, but I have to take my AP euro on friday, but I got a 3 on the practice so I was all screw studying, because I never have/do. So Good Luck and bring a Magic 8 Ball. I used one on my history midterm on every question and got a 100."Is all that we see or seem but a dream within a dream?" ~Edgar Allan Poe~

Oh GOD, I totally know what you mean by that... That's THE one part of the Music Theory exam that I'm completely worried about. I just know I'm not not going to have enough time to figure all the chords. Figuring out the actual soprano and bass lines won't be too hard, especially considering that little unfair advantage I have that likes to call itself "perfect pitch". X3 But yeah, still...The only thing I'm worried about is the listening stuff. Like, part of the exam involves us listening to a selection, taking down the soprano and bass lines (only those lines) and writing out the chords. We have like, 3 1/2 minutes to do that in work time (aka time not counting the playthroughs of the selection).
AP Computer Science, then....I took it, and honestly? I think I might've gotten a 4. I got a 1 on the practice exam, but only because I hardly finished anything.
I was mostly distracted by thinking about a certain...significant other of mine. >////>; I finished exactly two of the four free response questions on the practice, but I only missed a point-and-a-half between the two of them (each question is nine points). The multiple choice was almost as bad/good--I just finished the 17th out of 40 questions on the practice, while skipping one and getting three wrong. So, what I had was extremely good.
In terms of the actual AP CS exam, however, I got a lot more done than I did on the practice. I made the free response my BIYOTCH (except for the fourth one which I didn't get to). I even programmed recursion for the first time in my LIFE on the third question.
So, yeah, feeling accomplished. The multiple choice section went a bit smoother, as well. The last ten questions though, holy CRAP. Those were like, the longest questions on the entire frigging test!! How dare they put those at the end. XP

Advantage or not, you're still being incredibly egotistical. Not everyone has perfect pitch, but really, in situations like this, you don't need to have perfect pitch to do well. In fact, in certain situations, having perfect pitch can impede your performance. Don't be surprised if they throw **** like that in there.Oh GOD, I totally know what you mean by that... And please, it takes a lot less time to figure out what the chords are than you think it does. It's definitely the simplest part of those questions.
I may not have absolutely perfect pitch, but that's only because I have it in the sense that I hear everything as I would hear it in a Bb transposition. But then I'd just like to thank the AP exam for giving the starting note, since I'm amazing at figuring out intervals.
Also, I'm not doing as bad as I thought I did, and I don't have any reason to worry about the dictation anymore. I just have to not doubt my answers (everything I got wrong on my practice exam had the right answer originally, but I doubted myself, so I've gotta stop doing that) and work on doing the other dictations in a set time limit.Last edited by psychopete; 05-8-2008, 01:26 PM.Comment

Yeah, there's a 0th term. I didn't have nearly enough time enough time to finish everything on free-response, though...I left 2-3 subparts blank. The one depth of water question was ridiculous; I skipped and was going to go back and use triple integrals thinking it might work ("I don't know this BC topic, so I'll use something higher up!"), but ended up not being able to finish.BC Calc was bad

Re: Ap Exams :-$
Our class reviewed the government essays today. I think I may have gotten a 4 now. =_=;;
We're not allowed to talk about the multiple choice... but we did anyway.
Can't wait for next year. 6 AP tests, gogo.We climb up a lot of ladders, and fall down a lot of chutes.Originally posted by Gundam-Dudemy semen is flying through the air as we speak
