Well that sucks. I had brought my guitar along to play my minor and major scales and arpeggios before the test, but apparently that didn't help at all. But I'm pretty happy that seemingly few did well on that, which means that doesn't set me far off from the average.

Aww cmon, I'm sure you could tell when the singer hit tonic (during the second measure I believe she did). And then you can just use your musical common sense to fill in the stuff like passing tones. In fact, that's exactly what I did while I did the other open-ended stuff. I had about ten to fifteen minutes left to doze off even after doing the written part plus my revisions to the dictation. We had so much time for the written open-ended; it was great.

Nope, everyone in my theory class also caught it. Oh well, there was a more egregious error that had a selection, anyways. =P

If I had not had gone first, I could've skipped my lunch period to warm up my voice. Oh well. It's not like this is my last time taking Theory, since most places don't offer credit for AP (that and I plan to major in theory/composition).

That's what I did, but I still hated how high it was. xD And still, the part writing was so easy, in my eyes. I did the bass composition in no more than five minutes, they suggested way too much time (of course, fixing everything else that I felt like I could fix without aural stimulus on the dictation took up almost all of my time). Either that or I spent too much time doing practice examples to work on speed prior to the test.

Well, it's the science of computers.

...Not fooled? Good. AP Computer science is all about the Java programming language, an object-oriented programming language.

Study the concepts and tools of computer science as you learn a subset of the Java programming language. You will design, write, and test computer programs.

You can PM, comment or IM me sometime if you want to know more about it. It's fun stuff, but if you don't like thinking logically, you aren't going to have fun learning it. Computer science is pretty much all logic, heh. Oh...and you might wanna get this program, as well. It's easier to learn than NetBeans and is a lot less retarded than TextPad.

When I took AP Chem last year, it was probably the easiest 5 I got. I thought I got a 1 or 2 on Comp. Sci. A, but I somehow got away with a 4 (with an independent study class, lol). It could've been because it was the first year it was done in Java, but yeah. I didn't even know what Swing components were at the time. Either way, yay me.
                [/brag]

Hey Relambrien, how about I teach you some Java over the summer and you get an easy 5 on the test next year?

@Kamunt: BlueJ is free? Hmm, I never knew that. Our high school used some other program called JCreator.

Today's my exam for human geo. I think I might need luck.

Also this is the last day for all AP exams, if I remember correctly.

I think I'll study a little more before I go to bed. I need to familiarise myself with the models and theories.

EDIT: I don't think I should be staying up this late before testing. hahahaha. ha. ha.

Our school uses BlueJ because we're cheap, but you can get a huge educational discount on really good programs (Eclipse!) if your school is willing to vouch for the fact they're actually teaching a class.

But.. yeah, I know of some really smart people who have gotten low grades on their SAT's and finals. Makes me wonder if in a couple of years, that I'll be in the same situation and possibly getting scores in like the 30's and 40's.

Highschool gets a **** load easier (IMO) every year.
But every school is different, so it could be just me.

I see "VA" under location... and you just reminded me of my friend who goes to George Town.
For one of his finals; he had to memorise every single soveirgn nation, the leaders that ruled over them, and their past 200 years of history.

He said he totally guessed on a lot of the history... and he thought he failed. Yet I think he got like an A-. :-/

I hate when people go "Im prolly gonna fail" and they own tests.

Hahaha! I really did need to look at the models more.

There goes one absolutely incorrect essay question.

You guys are cramming for your exams, while my finals are at the end of June. I have plenty of time to study, but I really don't need to. I pretty much know everything so far. I'll just have to review all of it near the end to make sure I know it all. I usually have luck on my side when I do tests and exams, so I'm not really worried at all.
