Ladies and gentlemen, they did it.

I'm pretty sure anyone likes to have a deranged Asian overlord hanging over his shoulders with a nuke in control.

It matters to South Korea, who doesn't have nukes.
            N. Korea is a communist country. S. Korea isn't. They both hate each other.

              Why should I be?

Even if North Korea was retarded enough to attack the US, they definitely wouldn't hit anywhere near where I live.

And even if they were planning on attacking some weird-ass place that doesn't make any sense to hit, the chances of them choosing an area near me are so unlikely given the size of the country.

So, in conclusion, North Korea would have to be retarded to attack the US, and even if they did, I'd be safe anyway.

Decent Spot, plus winds would bring it over : (

Anyways, it goes against the Nuclear Non-Proliferation acts, and is therefore illegal.

It's not about being 'retarded'. It's about scaring people. The more power they have to control people's emotions, the greater leverage they have over anything they may deem important to them.

Also, for those who are interested, the strongest known ICBMs that North Korea has (that I remember off hand) can hit Hawaii, Alaska, and most of the West Coast of the USA.

This is a very bad situation that's just going to get worse, assuming everything is true.

A little late to develop a nuke, you know.

Good thing most countries have missile defense systems now.

A nuke that explodes over an ocean won't do much.

Now they just have to wait another decade or two so they can get the technology to fit a bomb into a ballistic missle.
