Seriously guys, ascending made me more interested in the game. I was pretty much giving up on it, just spending adventures in the gym here and there to pass the time. Starting over has really made me get into it more. I'm sitting here disappointed that I'm out of adventures and can't eat or drink, so I may start using my other 2 characters again so they can ascend, too. And all the stuff right after you ascend is pretty hilarious. I hope Jick adds more funny stuff for every ascension you go through.

I have yet to see any new content post-ascension, though. Of course, I'm only level 3 so far, so I haven't unlocked very much old stuff either. I'm anxious to see what's new...

Well, I am also excited about ascension, but due to the enormous lag which is seriously pushing me to quit, I won't ascend until after my school ends.
Once I ascend and/or lag is dissipated my interest will come back.
On another note, Eyespeculum emailed me that one of my songs was up for contention.
It's called Tribute- By Tenacious D. Jack Black is the singer.
Anybody who heard Eyespec on Friday can tell me the winner?

Still havn't beaten the sorceress... PM me with the items needed and how long it took, and maybe I might be able to ascend. I sorta got interested because if there is going to be a whole bunch of new stuff, I don't really want to miss out...

ckj, look a few pages back at the post that has the complete guide to beating the sorceress. It's pretty hard to miss, given the huge "OMG BIG SPOILER" text and big blank space before the guide. And yeah, the lag has died down quite a bit, I think. Especially at like, 3-4am! XD But seriously, day of ascension it was still a bit laggy then, but now it's not. It'll calm down eventually. I do hope Jick gets more/better servers to handle all this.

Nevermind... BTW, that didn't really help that much with the items to equip... I finally did it though... I was extremely cheap, my GPOAS did all the work. I had an acid squirting flower, and 2 flaming talons. Also, I had the furry suit on. Just keep healing and have your flower and familiar kill her. It took a long time, but it worked!

No, my skills healed me... The sorceress takes all of the healing items if you try to use them during battle. You just have to be lucky... I was able to hit her 3 times in a row with Weapon of the Pastalord while my acid flower and my GPOAS were doing constant damage. Make sure to have a level 25 GPOAS without buffs. He is quite a help. However, I had 7 HP remaining on her final form... Good Luck!

I beat her EASILY when I finally did it. Used a barrrrnacle (lv. 16+5=21), Furry Pants + Wolf Mask to lower my Moxie, Enchanted Brass Knucles, and 2x Flaming Talons.... then used my Lunging Thrust-Smack over and over again.

Got hit 3 times total... had her dead in minutes.
