Does the NPC Red here have the same levels as the player did for the first round, or did they boost the levels up to the levels that the original Red NPC had?

no one posted in here recently so I'll make a quick summary:

- they restarted a new game 3 times before finally choosing a girl
- torchic was chosen as the starter by accident
- they were stuck on the 1st gym for the longest time before they caught and trained a marill
- currently have 2 badges
- they are stuck on watson because his magnemite is destroying the team, with it being a steel type and resistant to fucking everything. torchic also doesn't have any fire moves
- they caught five poochyenas. doge jokes galore
- they literally just released their starter. pc first blood

IMO, Wattson is harder in Emerald than RS because he's got four Pokemon this time, and his backstop is a Manectric, which is a lot faster and lacks the double ground weakness of Magneton. And I say this as someone that's played both Emerald and Ruby.

1d 20h left, looks like they're grinding in Victory Road. I hope they make it, a randomized FR is going to be fucking brutal depending on the seed.

The main difference here is that there is no rallying cry like they had with Crystal. "No gods, no kings, only men" is absent. May I suggest "do it for Zexy"? In any case, I can't wait to see the mythology and fanfics around THIS run.
