And I don't want to hear anything about Sony stealing ideas.

Home? More like Sims for PS3.

With private areas for private things and private trophies to show how good I am with my privates.

As in low-ranking soldiers, of course.

PS: I had an idea like this when I was really little. Having a little fake world with a little fake house you could decorate. Oh, if only I had patented that when I was 6 years old. =(

PPS: I actually like the idea, but I can see it getting out of hand and being ridiculous. Then again, for that to happen, lots of people would need to buy PS3s. So it works out for everybody in the end. =P

      PPPS:
You honestly believe companies are going to let you play on their servers for free.

Yeah, keep dreaming. Either the service will suck or you're gonna have to pay.
I don't pay to play any online computer game, aside from the cost of internet itself. Doesn't PS3 have a sleep mode? Couldn't PS3 owners set up dedicated servers when they're not playing their PS3? Isn't that what people do with computers? Isn't Sony acting like PS3 is more like a computer media superstation than just another game console? WELL I DON'T KNOW HOW I EVER EXPECT TO PLAY AN ONLINE GAME ON THE PS3 WITHOUT PAYING OUT MY ASS, IT MUST BE IMPOSSIBLE!!
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.

Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O

Ok, so now there is one good thing about PS3. This seriously looks like it'd be really amazing, especially if it has integrated minigames (they showed pool and bowling).

Too bad it's not enough to justify spending so much money on it. You know, if PS3 was less money, I'd buy it in an instant, even considering it's smaller library of worthy games. It's really a shame even a great plan like this probably won't be enough to bring the PS3 up to snuff just because the damn thing is so expensive.

I think I'll buy a Wii AND 360 before I buy a PS3. PS3 just has no games that I like so far. That's right, none at all.

This seems like a diversion from their games.

I have to say that it is impressive. The graphics are amazing and the games should be free. It's what's expected from a $600 super console.

Nintendo owned Animal Crossing, did they not?

It looks a lot like The Sims Online, only with more room for sexual predators. What's the point of it? I mean, I could walk around a shopping mall, decorate my real room, and then have real people over to my house. I know this may come as a shock to many, but sometimes, I even get to kiss real girls!

Of course, doing this all online instead if in real life just makes it that much more thrilling. I hope the controller vibrates whenever I touch a boob or put a poster up, otherwise it just won't be worth it.

Too bad the SIXAXIS doesn't have rumble.

                          According to Sony, it's a last-gen feature.

According to the rest of the world, they stole the patent from Immersion and had to pay a huge fine and were not allowed to use rumble again without paying even more money.

You know that another company is in works to create a first-party or third-party SIXAXIS with the Rumble feature. Hopefully, the deal goes through.

                              So I heard.

Yet only a few weeks prior, Phil Harrison claimed rumble was a last-gen feature that they didn't care about anymore.

And before that, they came out and said the reason they didn't include rumble was because it was too expensive.

And immediately following that, Immersion came out and said "no it isn't".

The rumble fiasco will never end. I swear.

Well, it'd be nice if they followed through with it, but it'd suck for those who already bought a PS3 and/or extra controllers.

It's just like Nintendo's plan. The more controllers you want to do things, the more money you gotta kick out. Just a classic controller and another Wii controller costs what $60-70 all together? Yeah, sure Nintendo.
