It's nice, but I think it's a little too far into what a console should do. Seriously, if you want to go online and interact with people online, use a computer, for games, go play a console that is mostly about games. Xbox, Wii etc.

Only thing I like about what's coming up for Sony is Little Big Planet, freaking amazing.

That got my attention. I'll be following this a little now to see what they do with it.

i said it before and ill say it again
PS3=Betamax of gaming. it wont win

ooh and by the way, i agree, that does look very much like a high rez version of second life, so there's another unoriginal idea made by sony.

Thats really awesome, but It still is not enough to make me want to buy a PS3.

                Who are you?

I could help but laugh at the direct copying of Nintendo's ads.

ooo look a desprate attempt to make ps3 better than wii! LOOK they can dance! OOHHH! trophies?! omfj! its like...infinitavely better! omj omj! If only they had a lower price and a vibrating function...i would buy it now. Sadly, i dont like any of the games that are released...and with the backwards compadibality issues, i refuse...it really looked good too >.<

                    It's better than the Mii's.

                    I have a wii.

                    I don't have a PS3.

                    I'll eventually buy one.

As for the paying for online games, you have it all wrong. The only ones you have to pay for are some of the MMORPG's, similar to FFXI on the PS2. Get your facts straight before you look like a total ****ing douche

You honestly believe companies are going to let you play on their servers for free.

Yeah, keep dreaming. Either the service will suck or you're gonna have to pay.

                        I don't like it.
It's too cliche(haha no accent) of Sony to "steal" an idea. It's ridiculously like Second Life, as once stated. Sure, the Miis may not have as much depth as this, but they do take part in a few games.

I love how you people suck Nintendo's dick without knowing half of the crap you spew. So it's Second Life for the PS3. Wow. You act as if that was an idea Nintendo had copyrighted from the beginning of video games. Sony is taking an idea and expanding on it. If you all couldn't give a damn about Home, then half of you wouldn't be in here trying to become Nintendo's personal fanboy advertisements.

                                Anyways.....

Home looks pretty cool to have once a person gets a PS3 and gets some friends. It's kind of ironic how most of my school owns a PS3 (I had to do a survey for Probability and Statistics) when Wii and 360 are supposed to be on top but hey whatever. I do plan on getting both a Wii and a PS3 and Home is just another huge reason to want to have it.
