And yeah, with three shells there's pretty much no such thing as a hell build any more. Being a beginner is rofl easy now.

He'd gain more MP from being pure int than from doing the hell build. What a waste. XD
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.

Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O

I think eb means doing to the hell build is a waste because the amount of extra MP he'd get purely from being pure int would overshadow that of the hell build, so it'd make more sense to just get the energy bolt and forget the hell build altogether because it's uneeded work.

PS I just downloaded chrono trigger for zsnes and I'm like woa addicted so I probably won't get back into maple for awhile.

Yeah, Pure INT is strictly raising INT ONLY. This is because mages don't need accuracy, amirite?

Or is it because their accuracy can also be based off their int?

Well, if you do go hell build...just get a stars and stripes and warrior, speed, and dex pills -_-, 22 dmg with pure int mage. And hell build only goes to lv 13, where you get claw (assuming ur funded so mp doesnt matter) 7 hrs...i think i could do it faster.

I started to play on scania on forceof1ight (yay ffr song), who gained 141% in 25 mins on horny mushrooms (lv 15-17).

I think int does determine acc, not sure though

I would never got pure int. You know why? You lose a ton of exp when you die, and that is the reason I quit my ranger on and off. Until I got nx that is. Safety charms yay.

I've always thought it was. When I leveled from 52-55, I only increased int. My accuracy on Zombies increased every level. It could be that it was my level that was raising my accuracy, but I don't believe so. I could hit a lot of things that my friends couldn't at the same level and they had less int than I had. Show me further evidence and I'll believe you.

I got a Scroll for Overall for DEX 10% from one of my recent PQ's. I'm super happy right now, as i'm gonna get a good profit off of this scroll. And I need that profit; making money is hard at times. Also, level 27 now with 11 Magic Guard. MG HELPS ME ALOT, as it now cuts down nearly half of the damage I take. I'll have it maxed right at level 30. =)

                              Re: MapleStory

To clear things up for you guys: Accuracy (for all classes) is based on two things. Your accuracy stat (accuracy for melee attacks, int for magic attacks) and the difference in level between you and the monster. Basically, the lower level you are compared to a monster, the more of the accuracy stat you need to hit it. That's why archers, despite having TONS OF ACCURACY, still miss things many many levels ahead of them. So tsugomaru, it was your higher int AND your higher level that made you hit zombies more often.

Also, level 27 now with 11 Magic Guard. MG HELPS ME ALOT, as it now cuts down nearly half of the damage I take. I'll have it maxed right at level 30. =)
I hate having to explain this, but it wasn't immediately obvious to me (or other FFRers) so I won't get mad for you making this mistake. DO NOT USE MAGIC GUARD UNLESS YOU HAVE TO IN ORDER TO SURVIVE!! Look at it this way: MP pots cost twice as much as HP pots. When you have MG on, you don't take less damage, but 80% (assuming max here, but this applies to any level of MG) goes to your MP. You still need to heal that damage taken, but instead of using el cheap-o HP pots you'll have to use twice-the-expense MP pots. 20% dmg * 1x cost pots + 80% * 2x cost pots = 180% cost when compared to not using MG. If you use MG, you are robbing yourself of money.

The only reason you should EVER use MG is if not doing so would kill you. In later levels you will have to use MG (unless you're a priest with a good +HP suit and high enough level ER). When I train, I am fighting things that do 1500-2000 damage (sharks can actually do 2800, but that's rare). I barely have over 1k HP, so I have to use MG or I would die. At this point, the pot money wasted due to MG is unimportant when compared to the much faster training at high level monsters. At your level, the extra pot money will make you broke.

Trust me, you won't need to use MG until around your 60s when you have to pass by high level monsters to reach Coolies, and even then you'll deactivate it once you start training.
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

I dunno. I use mg all the time on my fire mage and it doesn't drain my pots. If anything, it saves space in my use inventory, which is very very limited. You are also forgetting to consider that you have mp eater and you regain a lot more mp just running around then hp (which is none at all). I don't get hit very much so mg saves money for me, and I don't have to pot as much. Meh, it is all personal preference.
