ckj, he wouldn't need it for the arms for sure. Also, that might be the reduce-your-hp-and-mp-to-1 skill. Like somebody in one of the SSes said, the skill that puts your MP at 1 pops up a 1 (as in, you take 1 HP damage) when you get hit by it, so I'd expect the one that knocks your HP to 1 would show up how much damage it does to you. I mean, Jason only has 4683 HP, so 7k+ would easily kill him, but he lived up till that point, so it's prolly just that thing.
Plus it's above both the DKs, so it's likely that one of them got hit by hit. =P
PS: KEETO GOGOGO YOU CAN TRAIN WITH ME AT DTS BEFORE LONG OMGGGGG =OOOOOOO
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.
So yeah iv'e been messing around alot with my JMS person.
Fun to play and fast leveling is the best. No people in slime tree, so it makes it a lot easyer to train.
How come no one is ever on JMS?
I also have a real quick question. Is there any difference's from a polearm to spear. Like is there any pros and cons about them. Not the pros and cons about spearmen, I mean the weapon. I know a long time ago I overherd someone saying a spear is better from a pole arm. Is that true?
Also, leveling with my sin is really hard right now because im broke and I cant find a good place to grind without using a lot of pots. so ima keep trying to sell stuff in Fm so I could buy some pots or something.
We stopped around that point in the end... Too many mobs as a few people were bringing them down. In my last party in there, the priest died.. So I went a little while without a priest. Then me and the dk tried to join in a party but they weren't adding and people were giving up, so I gave up.
The nearly 8k hit was either a bump or the hp/mp thing. I'm pretty sure a bump, as I wasn't down to 1/1.
The mobs make Zakum difficult. You also get stunned, sealed, and knocked down to 1/1 a lot. Touch the body if you're not a warrior or mage and you're dead (or if you're them and don't heal immediately). Also the physical defense stage makes Zakum a lot longer to beat, as it happens often.
OHNOES BETTER GO TRAIN! =O I was playing Planetside, but it has like, load times and stuff, so I won't be going into that much. I like it when games are tiny and stupidly un-graphical and fast-loading! XD
Is there any difference's from a polearm to spear. Like is there any pros and cons about them.
Well, spears do more damage when stabbing and polearms do more damage when swinging. If you look, there are 2 of each animation. I've heard people say that one or the other happens more often, but about an equal number say either one, so I think it's pretty equal. For right now, it doesn't matter. All the polearms/spears you'd find/buy would be the same speed/attack/whatever. They have the exact same damage formula, it's just a preference for if you'd rather your strong hits be on swings or stabs (so personally, polearm is cool until you get mastery).
The one exception, though, is the fish spear. It adds 5 speed, 10 accuracy, and is Normal speed (instead of Slow). My level 39 spearwoman is still using an above average 100% scrolled fish spear (prolly not the best idea, cuz....it's kinda weak, and I prolly would have spent less money on just getting a level 35 one, I just can't stand Slow weapons >__<). You can buy fish spears in Jipang (not in the city you start in, though, you gotta make it past gangsters, which are annoyingly stronger than you are at fishspear-using level) or find them from bubblings, but really you shouldn't worry too much about weapons right now.
As far as 2nd job and beyond go, though, spears > polearms. The level 40 and 50 spears are both Normal instead of Slow (the Maple Impaler, level 43, is FAST. I haven't looked into their prices on jMS, but if you plan to get one then spears are a big plus because of it). Later on, the level 70 spear adds accuracy and the L70 polearm doesn't seem to (according to HS, at least), and the spear is way the hell more common. I have 3 or 4 of them in gMS. o__O Plus, the spear skill in 3rd job is way cooler and stronger.
But speaking of spearman, I looked on ebay for Maplestory accounts and saw a picture of a level 70 spearwoman for sale. She was holding a level 40 crescent polearm. Now isn't that a bit suspicious? XD

So I'm in FM trying to sell a few items when a guy says he's buying all Circlets any color except orange. I had just bought an Aqua Golden Circlet for 200K (+2 Int =D) and also having the 2 Flames from the 5 Million Man (read previous post). So I trade him and try to deal with him. Turns out he didn't have enough to pay up front so I tell him does he have anything else to trade to lower the cost.
He tells me he has Thief stuff but they really aren't worth much. Me having a Level 24 Sin beg to differ. So the guy says he has 3 sets of Tobis. I'm like WTF and the guy then says, "Hey, if I give you a set can I get the Aqua?"
THIS IS NOT A DRILL. THIS IS NOT A DRILL. THIS IS AN ACTUAL NOOB.
I go, "Sure" and the guy produces a set of Tobis. I put the Aqua up and then he asks can he also have one of the Flames. I give it to him and he ADDS 100K to the Tobis.
O_O
I quickly trade and have a heart attack in my room. I just traded 1.1 million for 1.7. Not bad for a morning huh?
So basically, if I can't find a GPW or MDT DK party, I can get a DT party that will play like the viking parties I'll be at in a while.
Cool.
You know, it's funny. Last night, I was thinking "I wonder if there are enough people to do a party here the way bandit does vikings," because it didn't seem very effective to follow tee around and just HS bandit when we passed each other.
