If I could stay connected for longer than two seconds, I'd use it. I've been trying to get out forever.

EDIT: And I can assure you it isn't my connection. Everything goes right up until I finally get into the world and my character appears. My old character I quit works fine, so maybe they ****ed up the patch? I dunno, but it's annoying.

And yeah. Omega sector is kinda pointless... but the Mason quest was cool, and the VIP Florina quest is cool. Except that I have to go to Ossy to get it. Then probably vict because it seems like they'd do that just to piss me off.

Basically, you guys are suffering from a hacked room.

There's a jump hack in the room that causes the game to think you are doing it and disconnects you. You have to get your inventory tab open and click a town scroll as fast as you can.

Alternatively, try removing your network cable as soon as you see your character, then walk over to the portal and leave.

Argh.

I waited a while, then tried and it gave me like ten seconds of time to make a break for it. I got disconnected right as I left again, but this time when I logged back in I was outside. Phew.

Was gonna say that but more in depth.

As soon as you log into the server, and the screen goes black disconnect your internet cable and walk over to the portal. Press up and connect the cable. You will be disconnected again, but when you log back in you are outside of the sauna. =)

It's BAD to log off while on a boat ride. Or go into the cash shop. Or change channels. It puts you back to where you were before, without an refund. That's just how life works. And for your voyage going on for half-an-hour, that's prolly just you. Often times, after 5 minutes, people think an hour has gone by. Werd. Or it may be your connection.

I just minimize the screen. Of course, then I turn back and find I've been raped by a giant flying monkey/balrog. =(
