How much are Work Gloves worth? A long time ago I bought one from a guy for $7,000. But I sold it during hard times. Now when I see them in the FM they're going for about 1-5 million.

Depends how nicely scrolled they are.
When I was around 2x it confused me cause people were selling them for millions and I made mine for less than 2k (including materials). People scroll work gloves a lot because they're common, so if you mess up a glove you're not restricted to sell it within your class. gloves scrolled with ATK are usually very high in price. DEX gloves are usually lower.

ATK glove: 1 mil - 60 mil +
DEX glove: 150k- around 9-10 mil

depending on stats.

But why use that when priests can cast max dispel and it gets rid of seal 100% of the time for all party members in the radius?

Becuase if hitting the All Cure button and then healing is faster than Dispel + Heal they'd do that instead.

Also, as far as using MG, I'd figure it depends. A mage can't really handle Zakum until later than most people, from what I can tell (over 120 rather than over 100-110 for other classes), prolly because it's easy to die. HB adds 60% HP, so by the 80s mages can have ~1600hp with HB (I have barely over 1000 by level 81), so I imagine by the 100s or 120s could have well over 2k hp(~15 hp per level * 20-30 levels = 300-450 more hp * 160% from HB = 480-720 more hp + 1600 they already have). Biggest hit I saw in bandit's SSes was a little over 2k, so a mage with HB (and maybe a few HP adding gears just for benefit, a 100%'d pig headband gives 136 hp with HB on) would be able to take a hit from Zakum easy. If I went Zakum'ing I'd prolly carry pots that could heal 2k HP with me just in case the priest was sealed.

Also, remember that mages have bomb ass defense and prolly a point in PR (23% dmg reduction with one point) so they most likely don't take as much damage as banditcom, who doesn't have MG to save him in case the cleric is sealed, and he was just fine.

Also, I just thought of this, but couldn't 2 priests + 4 DKs easily kill Zakum alone? Either of the DK moves can hit at least 2 of the arms at once, couldn't they? One priest could heal constantly and the other could dispel constantly (with that dispel'er sometimes casting HS). The DKs could have a point in ER too so they'd take way less damage, but I don't think it'd be too hard to do with just priests and DKs. Only problem would be accuracy, but Zakum has crap for avoid and Bless's +20 accuracy buff would do plenty.


Oh bandit, I don't see it in the SSes, but did any of the DKs use sacrifice at all? It's 350% dmg instead of 510% with buster, but that takes 3 hits and Zakum is bound to have bomb ass defense, so I dunno if sacrifice would make a difference or not. *shrug*

They use buster, especially when there are multiple arms. However I do believe sacrifice would be better for any DK 115 or lower, as defense counts more the lower level you are in comparison to the monster's level.

Anyways... I went in with too many stars and not enough pots. But that didn't matter, as too many people had ****ty deaths and dc's... :/

Another question: How come some quests that appear on hidden-street don't always....exist. Like this one quest in Ludi 'Just Another Day At Work' is where I have to talk to an NPC named Manager Karl to start the quest but the little light bulb icon doesn't appear above his head. And the quest is for level 10 and up people.

Also, Another Day At Work starts the dreaded Roly-Poly quest where you must literally go down all 100 floors of EOS Tower to find 10 Roly-Poly guys and take their pictures. I've only gotten 3 pictures so I don't know what the reward is.

In other news, I've finally gotten out of Level 48 and I plan to get to 49 by this weekend.

Jason this next question is for you. I just turned Level 24 on my sin and I now have Keen Eye Maxed, L7 maxed, and Nimble Body at 15. I'm afraid because now I won't have enough SP to finish NB, get the Req for Threaten (w/e it's called) and be able to max Dark Sight before 2nd job. Do I need to restart or what? =(

LK, some quests require that other quests be done before they open up. For example, one of the Icarus quests requires you to do Wing's quest first. Just look in your quest list in-game and see what's available and do those. Since they put that in the game there's barely even any need to look at hidden-street for quest info, unless you are looking to save up items for way future quests.

Zakum looks so easy LOL

I have 2k+ HP with HB and my HP gear. I could probably take hits already as long as I have a DK remaining vigilant on the HB.

Maybe I should skip ER and get dispel next just so I can go to zakum way early.

Haha. No, that'd be dumb. ER will help so much in leveling. Besides, I'd be like the lowest level there and I'd probably end up not even getting exp from it.

And did I see genghiskhan in one of those screenshots?

Yeah, I did. I partied with him before, and I know him to be a DK. Why does he have a sword equipped? Just messing around before Zakum is spawned?

Oh and one more thing: Deap is like 3rd ranked level in Bera. How is he not banned? There's also a 7x beginner in Bera. How do the GMs miss these things?
