Score... I didn't add enough Str in earlier levels... so I kinda got screwed with my asianic. Ended up borrowing a red polyfeather until I can raise my str more to equip my bow, black polyfeather, and snow shoes.

1) Stay on topic, lolz.
2) To Jason and Oni: Getting explosion first is not a bad idea. I rechecked Flenaris's guide (cuz ya know, hearing about what's good from somebody who has done it means a lot more to me) and he's all about some explosion. Also, I did the math, and on a fire weak monster (that is neutral to poison), FA is 180 base attack but comp is 187.5. I'd rather hit 6 things for 180 base than 1 thing for 187.5 + poison (which won't do a whole lot in the long run). And since I'll most likely still be at Grupins when I max Explosion, MPE will soak up so much MP that the 50 MP cost (well, more like 60 with 4 points in amp) won't hurt me too bad.
3) On the note of MPE, I have a question to all you people with mob attacks: How does MPE work on mobs? Is it like, the same as if you were to shoot 6 monsters, with possible stacking of effect, or is it only 6x as likely or ONLY 6x absorbtion when it hits but it still does so 30% of the time? I would test it myself and watch my MP bar all day long, but I don't have a mob skill.
4) To half the people on this page: Did you not see the =P at the end of my post? XD
5) I'm lvl 64 now. =O Only a matter of time before I catch up to Chris, especially if he keeps playing his pure int. >=D

I don't think you realize how slowly I'll move through monsters...I'll be at Grupins for another level or two, then move to Pangs (which I will hate, cuz I'll still 3hk them sometimes, but once Grupins stop giving .02% they'll piss me off), and I'll stay there until I'm able to 1hk Jetis, at which point I'll go back to them. I'll stay there till I can 1hk Grupins sometimes and yeah...once I hit Oni's level and have maxed explosion I'll have some variety in where I can go, but I'm gonna move slowly up then fall back down once I can 1hk things I'm 2hk'ing now.

Fire mages take so long to get really cool. D:

EB, I heard A LOT of firemages talking about completely ignoring comp. They are talking about maxing everything but it, since explosion and myst are the exact same thing if used alternately. Plus, compo is a slow, one hit attack. I'm thinking of doing this.

I completed Ms. Ming Ming's Second Worry yesterday, got a Ribboned Pig Headband (No Pic Sry). I'm also working on Dr. Betty's Research on Fossils (dont really remember the quest name). I basically gotta bring this letter to Winston, along with 50 Firewood, 1 Stump's Tear, 100 Leaf, and Weighted Earrings. Only thing left I gotta collect is the 100 Leaf and the Weighted Earrings. I'd better get something really good for this quest, I've been working my butt off on it.

Haha. Those quests you just mentioned are really easy. I did them both yesterday on my pure int mage. The pig head band isn't a big deal. Everyone has one. And the fossil report quest gives you a nice pair of level 25 earrings that are +MP.

Yeah, it is kinda easy. And I hope to be lvl 25 once I finish the quest, as i'm lvl 24 right now...

Well, compo is really important, I think. The damage boost is most noticeable on neutral enemies, so its high damage is needed when fighting Zakum and such. Also, compo isn't slow, I dunno where you heard that. From what I've seen, it's about the same speed as FA. Even if it was a tiny bit slower, it would still do more damage over time, no matter what.

Also, I think mist is a bit silly. I mean, poison really helps with big monsters, and usually you don't find big monsters in large packs that can be misted. I'd rather just fire away with compo and poison them that way. Also, mist is kinda useless for regular everyday training, since you usually train on stuff you kill in 2-3 hits anyway. To me, it seems pretty silly to poison a bunch of monsters and wait for them to die, unless they're something huge.

I'll most likely max comp after explosion (so both will be maxed when I'm 95) and then work on amp, then seal I guess? I dunno, that's a long freaking way away... x__x
