I just discovered something. After watching ckj's bowman video and then watching Maesma's again I realize how much damage WK can do with elementals and how well they can defend (no offense to bowman ckj... arrow rain and puppet look like they own). I suppose strong elemental attacks against the appropriate enemy could outdo buster and sacrifice etc.
Also, I was wondering if the build for WK would be to put 1 SP into each elemental charge each level? Seemed like it would make sense, and like ckj said elemental attacks can do a lot even at low levels.
Forgot to post what I looked like now... I had to use the red polyfeather because I messed up and didn't add enough str to use my asianic... Going to add in my str so I can equip my dark polyfeather. Although most of you are going to say "JUST USE THE RED ONE UP TO 70" I'm not going to because I also have a dex set for level 70... If I don't add str sometime, I'll just get more and more behind in str...

Omega, what the hell. You're nearly level thirty (or so I get the impression from your wondering where 2nd Job trainer is) and I haven't heard your IGN yet. What is it?
What's an IGN? And I'm only level 17. I was just bored and decided to look for him one day.
I'm 3 levels away from actually having a decent attack starting. Level 1 bolt and claw sucks so much ass it's not even funny.
I wouldn't recomend this for anyone. Unless you're making an ice/lit because then claw and bolt will be obsolete completely anyway. And even then, you should EQ up to 30. Even PQs is tough for me.
Lol, I devoted today to training. Went to Grim Phantom Watches, started getting 18-22% an hour, things progressed and... for the first time in 26 levels, I got 50% in 1 day (after dieing 2 times.) It's great and Jason is pissed. (xD) At this rate I can get level 90 by next tuesday, if I stop dieing like an idiot (even though 1 death was to lag and the other was because HB wore off and I didn't think to MG) then maybe Monday. Think thats about it, found level 90 female thief pants (yay -_-) while a friend found a Kage on a different channel. Oh well if we keep training here we are bound to find SOMETHING good. =D

I don't need an HP suit anymore, I did before I got a couple points into ER. It seems to be a lot more helpful than I thought. Once I get it near maxed I might be able to take 2 hits with my crappy hp suit on. And if I find a kage, we will probably sell it since it would have to be split between us both, its not really mine to give.
P.S. Got my avatar back up and made a practice signature with the cool little outline thingy people do. Don't know if they know a trick or something but I did it by hand. >_>

What I would do (remembering that I've never had an archer past about level 20):
70 - 1 Strafe/Fire Shot (cuz getting a new skill at 70 is always cool)
71 - 2 Strafe/Fire Shot (3), 1 Mortal Blow (the practical thing would be to get MB at level 70, kinda like how I say to get MPE at 30 for mages, but come on, we all love new attacks!)
72~80 - max Strafe/Fire Shot (Pick one, I dunno which you want more. I'm all about some mob skills, and by 80 you could be flaming YnP (at least) for 225% dmg, 6 at a time)
81~90 - 29 Fire Shot/Strafe (do whichever you didn't get before), 1 Puppet (it will be useful even at level 1, when you get it is up to you)
91 - Max Fire Shot/Strafe, 2 Puppet/Mortal Blow/Arrow Rain
and from there I'm not sure. Fire Shot instead of Rain because of what I said before, with Mortal Blow thrown in early because it's passive and will be useful, and Puppet thrown in once you'll be fighting things that attack with things other than smashing the ground. I'm not sure what to do after maxing FS and Strafe cuz I'd suppose it varies based on your own play style and what you like doing. I'd probably get puppet to 6 or so (so it's longer than 10 secs) and then work on Arrow Rain cuz I love mob attacks and I'd want to move from pirates to vikings. But yeah, it's really up to you and your play style. If you get Fire Shot and Strafe and end up never/rarely using Fire Shot, even when fighting fire-weak things, then you should prolly hold off on getting Rain and get MB/Puppet higher first. I'm fairly positive I would use Fire Shot constantly, but that's just me.
Random note: Strafe overpowers DS/AB at level 9 (68*4 = 272 > 260), and Fire shot overpowers Bomb at level 9 (90 * 1.5 fire advantage = 135 > 130) when attacking fire-weak monsters. Seems like 9 is the magic level for skills. XD
Oh, and about that video, I still think hawk blows ass from that. It rarely attacked. To me it seemed like they'd be stunned a lot more often from Arrow Bombing them a lot. Also, vikings are strong to fire, so any damage you see in that video with fire shot, triple it and that's what she'd to do pirates/yetis/any fire-weak monster.
Also, I was wondering if the build for WK would be to put 1 SP into each elemental charge each level? Seemed like it would make sense, and like ckj said elemental attacks can do a lot even at low levels.
That's a terrible idea. Reason being that you won't be fighting things that are weak to all sorts of elements. Early in your White Knight career you'll be fighting El Nath stuff, which is weak to fire, so it makes sense to get fire charge first. Eventually (WAY LATER) you'll wanna fight Vikings, so you'll need lightning charge. I'm not sure if blizzard charge freezes monsters, but if it does then a WK might put at least a few points in it (not too many, since not a ton of high level stuff is weak to ice). Also, they have to put points in Charge Blow eventually (375% stunning finisher sounds nice to me). But yeah, 99% of the time in MS, splitting your points among several things every level is a terrible practice. It seems good at first, but then you realize you have several crappy skills instead of 1 or 2 really good ones.
Also, I find it funny that banditcom is depressed by archer videos, when back in the day he was all like "oh man, being an archer would be boring, that'd suck" and now he's jealous. I also find it a bit saddening, cuz bandit still gets exp faster than I do when he's got 20 levels on me. Granted, I would level faster than he does now if we were on the same level, but for now I'm like =(.
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.
That was Pat, Oni... heh But yeah it upsets me too. :<
An archer would be very boring until 90. It would be interesting then.
However, after it's all said and done, I still wouldn't trade-in my hermit because I can't live without flash jump. And, something will come out where it'll be okay for a hermit to train alone. Ludi, to get good exp, I'd have to party with someone+priest for HS.
Got 85% yesterday on bloody Platoons. Three Esthers found around me. Zero found by me.
L52 comes today. Fairly on schedule. Hopefully I'll find an Esther, then hightail it to Lorangs to pick up a nice extra bunch of EXP, maybe enough for 53.
