Well, my new character is up to level 9 (with about 50% exp).


I didn't screw up on stats this time, so this one will be a lot more powerful anyway. Once I hit 10 my magic will finally be useful =D

The jump quests in MS are so bs I hereby declare I shall never do any one except the one in SW. That one is timed well enough that it's possible as intended. All other ones I've tried are not possible to be timed properly; you have to let yourself get hit at certain spots and hope you don't fall down.

Psst I really did use a jumphack on my second jump quest, but no one saw me and no one was around. If a GM saw it, they would have banned me within a month of when I did it. Also, that's why 190 ores just "appeared" in my inventory. Sorry, had to confess.

Afro, your right, other then the sw jq, the rest you must get hit by lasers or whatnot, and hope you don't fall. While this is tiresome, it is entirely possible to do.

Not every jq you have to get hit. The Shumi quests you can easily evade being hit by something. Anyways...My mage on Scania server(Bera sucks) is level 35 and I am having no progression of leveling, he's an Ice Wiz at fire boars, should I kill Jr Lioners and Jr Cellions instead?

By level 35 you won't want to train anywhere except fire boars, and as long as you can find one with only 1 or 2 people in it it's great experience, not to mention money ( I think I earned about 3-4 million just from picking up loot and selling two glass shoes from level 30-45) Don't expect to really go anywhere else until level 40+.

Ossyria has a great place similar to Fire Boars for ice wizards to train at. From Orbis, head to cloud city and head to the top left. There's a portal here, although you can't see it. It's pretty obvious where it is, however. There are cats here named Cellion, a fire type, Lioner, a thunder type, and Grupin, an ice type. There are two versions of each, an adult version and a junior version. You'll want to fight the junior ones. From what I've seen, it's a bit less crowded than fire boars and they drop 60% claw scrolls and a few other good rares. (Assassins training at Jr Grupins will trade you wand scrolls that Jr Grupins drop for claw scrolls, which can be a good thing) It's pretty much the same thing as fire boars, but they have 1.1k hp and give out 65 exp.

On a side note, I've noticed that Jr. Lioners, the thunder type of the three cats, is ice weak. They drop kumbis and 60% bow scrolls, so you might prefer them to Cellions. Same goes for the adult version (Different drops, however.)

For those who are worrying over jump quests, let me give you some advice.

In jump quests, if there is a platform to your left a jumping distance away, stand and get hit and you will be hit onto that platform. This does NOT WORK going to the right.

That should help you in B1...

As for Sabitrama's level 25 quest, I don't know where you are stuck, but I'll try to sum it all up. Spikes are almost always safe to duck left into. The little thorns are the same way; just duck into them. Lupins' bananas are tricky, but if you jump into the banana and hold up, you should get back on the rope. It might take some effort to perfect this one.

Squeek, I'm level 38 now and the fireboars are now taking too long to level up on. I only get 0.02 of a percent for each kill. Whats the next place I should level up in? to get a bit more exp.

Yay, level 12. I'm so much more powerful than when I hit level 12 in Scania. I've also decided to dedicate quite a few of my skill points to MP Recovery, making my magic much more practically usable. Every level I've been putting 2 towards MP Recovery, and one towards either energy beam or energy claw, alternately.

Is this good, or bad?

Bad move, remake char once again.

You need to get 10 points into MAX MP ASAP. You can do like me, when you job adv, put your skill into MP Recovery instead of energy thingy and you'll get to Max MP quicker than others and have slightly more mana than others.

Meh, I'm not remaking character again... the main reason I remade it was because my other friend was starting, and I was looking for a good excuse to change servers, so that worked well.

Get used to it. I level on things that may or may not give me 0.01%. It's somewhere along the lines of 0.0066%
