See, waaay back in the Beta version, monsters dropped these things called "Monster Cards" and "Omok Pieces". They were useless. They sold for 1 meso and took up ETC slots, so everybody avoided picking them up.
Lol...I am now going to post a picture of my dude!! He sucks, I know =\.

I prefer to find a girl taking a nap at the local preschool, and then make love to them as they scream in my large, sound-proofed, white van. I then make love on their face, and throw them in an ice-chest of bleach. For pillow talk, I usually say, "Your parents can't hear you," and keep their teddy bear as a momento. You could call me a hopeless romantic, I guess.

So now they are back in the game. Neat-o.

I had like 100 of those :/ Sold em all to the store. I also had an Omok Table or something. Nice to see you can actually use them now.

Afro- Minigames.
I've seen on the HS forums that you get banned for playing the Omok minigame. Just a word of warning, you may not wanna play the game. Apparently in the beta the minigames were used for evil purposes and an auto-banner was made to stop it, but it's still there and legit minigames are getting people banned. So if you wanna play, maybe make a new account and test it there first.
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.
I'm sure they would warn us with a big, fat, shiny, red Mapletip scrolling on the top of the screen if they didn't want you to play what they just opened. Or, they could just use common sense and not open what bans you.
Oh thank god.
My poor little mesos were slowly disolving. =(
by the by level 40 to 50 must be the slowest most boring sluggish part I have ever experienced so far. =(
If 2x mesos were gone permanently, I'd quit Maplestory. The reason for this is, without 2x mesos, I would actually be losing money if I ever bought potions. Say I spend 400K on potions. I will make about 600-700K and 200-300K in profit :/
Been reading ur posts from time back, noticed u were excited about becoming an Ice Wiz and bored with Cleric. I am level 30 now, but before i level i wanna get some advice on what level 2, i try to read many of the posts around, sounds like fire/poison is boring? lots rec. ice/light and u were some time back and posting lots bout it? did u stop the ice/light mag character and focus back on cleric? Also if i do go Ice/light what path do u recommend?
First, let me say that keep all Maple Story discussion here. I don't want multiple threads about this game.
Second, this is going to be really long, but bear with it.
The Magician (2nd Job Advancment) Choosing Guide
I've seen many threads in the past asking "What kind of magician should I become?" or "Which magician is the most powerful?" Usually, I reply something such as "Choose whichever seems most fun to you or appeals to you the most." However, I am still seeing these threads pop out every now and then, so I decided to make this guide.

I. Most Powerful Magician
Many people wonder what the most powerful magician is during the 2nd job advancment: Cleric, Ice/Lightening Wizard, or Fire/Poison Wizard. The truth is that all of them have their pros and cons:
Ice/Lightening Wizards: They have poor defense compared to other classes. They have to use hp pots more frequently due to their low hp. However, they have strong attack, and can also mass kill.
Fire/Poison Wizards: Their defense is pretty much the same as ice/lightening wizards, having many of the same skills. They have EXTREMELY strong attack, and even though the base attack for Fire Arrow is only slightly different from Cold Beam, it makes a huge difference. However, fire wizards cannot mass kill, and rely on their Fire Arrow to kill one thing at a time.
Clerics: The only type of magician with good defense, Clerics can heal themselves for a very low cost of mp. In addition to healing themselves, Heal can also damage certain Zombie monsters, such as Zombie Mushrooms and Zombie Lupins. Their attack is low compared to wizards, but they can mass kill using Heal.
II. Different Attacks
Each type of magician has a variety of different attacks, and each can do different things.
Ice/Lightening Wizards use both Cold Beam and Thunderbolt. Cold Beam does a lot of damage and also freezes the monster. Unfortunately, thunderbolt does not paralyze the monster, but it hits up to 6 enemies around you.
Fire/Poison wizards have a lot of controversy going on about getting poison or not. Most wizards are either pure fire or pure poison. However, some wizards max both poison and fire arrow. Fire Arrow does a LOT of damage to a monster, even more than Cold Beam does. Poison doesn't do as much damage as Fire Arrow, but it poisons the monster, slowly draining its health.
Clerics only have one new attack during their 2nd Job Advancment called Holy Arrow. However, most clerics recommend that you don't max this out, and rely on Heal and Magic Claw instead. Holy Arrow doesn't do much more damage then Magic Claw, and there aren't many dark monsters anyways. Heal heals the character and can attack multiple zombie opponents at the same time (up to 5).
III. WHATEVER YOU CAN DO, I CAN DO BETTER!
This is usually never true.
Fire/Poison Wizards have the highest attack compared to other type of Magicians.
Ice/Lightening Wizards have a little lower attack then Fire/Poison Wizards, but they can also mass kill.
Clerics have the lowest damage of all, but they can mass kill and heal themselves.
IV. Money/Leveling Issues
Different types of Magicians have different issues among them.
Ice/Lightening Wizards - With cold beam, they have few money issues. However, if they want to level quickly with thunderbolt, they will have to spend a lot of money on potions.
Fire/Poison Wizards - They level slower than most lightning wizards and clerics because they don't have a mob attacks as they do. Fire/Poison wizards have few money problems, Fire Arrow only using a little bit more mp than Cold Beam.
Clerics - They have the best money. However, they do not gain more money than other wizards; It's that they save by not spending on hp potions because of Heal. They also level pretty quickly because they can mass kill.
Since different people have different amount of times on their hands, this is not totally accurate. However, I recommend it to those you want proof that a certain type of magician levels faster than another:
Many people do not recommend being a wizard if they are going to commit to Maple Story and go past the 3rd Job Advancment. Mages(Wizards) generally have weaker skills than Priests(Clerics) do. However, you should always go for what is more fun rather than what is better.
Ice/Lightening Mages have three new attacks:
Ice Strike: Damages multiple opponents around you. It's range and damage is superior to thunderbolt after it is maxed. It also freezes the monsters for a certain period of time.
Ice/Lightening Composition: This attack hits single units at a time, and replaces Cold Beam after it is maxed. It freezes the monsters and also has ice and lightning elemental advantages on its side.
Thunder Spear: Damages only single opponents at a time and its power is superior to Ice/Lightening Composition. However, Thunder Spear's speed is slow and therefore does less damage over time.
Fire/Poison Mages also have three new attacks:
Poison Mist: It poisons many enemies around you, and lasts a very long time. It poisons enemies that have not already been poisoned and enemies that poison has run out on.
Fire/Poison Composition: Hits single opponents at one time, and gets 150% damage or 50% damage because of elemental advantages and disadvantages.
Fire Explosion: A mob attack that hits many enemies around you. It's the first mob attack that a Fire/Poison wizard gets.
Priests gain a few attacks also. They also gain a number of party skills.
Shining Ray: A very strong attack in the beginning, but other classes attacks soon overpower it. It attacks multiple opponents at a time.
Dragon Summon: It's weak compared to many other attacks because it doesn't have any elemental supports. However, you can use this attack and do anything you want while it is attacking (Heal, Bless, etc.)
Doom: Not an actual attack, but it turns all enemies around you into snails that gives the same drops as the actual monster did. However, in order to use this attack, you must use a magic stone, which cost around 5k.
So, pick the job you think is going to be the most fun. And yes, I ditched the Ice dude and went back to my Cleric for many reasons. The primary reason is the friends I have in Scania.
And you Bera people SUCK. Can't believe you got that money BACK. It wasn't supposed to be there past that 2 weeks.
I took a trip to Ellinia and decided to stock up on potions. XD
Here's a nice win over Vash.. haha! I'm now 41-7 (I think; I could have more wins than that). All but 1 were dumb mistakes. The only reason I've played so much is because I set up the board in Perion for buying/selling, and so many people would come in and want to play that I just did it.
