Verr. My Spearman friend does over 8,000 damage with a slash Sacrifice and 1HKOs a pack of Zombies with Fury every shot (in case you didn't know, that's over 4500 damage). No other class can pull this on a regular skill with no hitches (slow cast time, expensive, drains all HP/MP, etc).

Believe me. Archers and Warriors totally suck until Mastery and their support skill are maxed. For you (if you're not going Hybrid), you will soon discover how awesome Final Attack is. Also, the level 40 spear crushes the 35.

Yeah, since it attack at Normal speed, Zeco is probably the best spear in the game. I'm also excited about using Final Attack.

Really common monsters drop them. They're worth around 100k.

As for the complaints about warriors with the whole MP deal, suck it up. Magicians can't kill without MP. Period. However, Warriors can kill (though less efficiently) without MP. They also get tons of HP and also do more damage later on.

Fair enough.

Not really cheating. Otherwise you'd have to talk to EVERYBODY because unlike jMS and other versions, we don't get little quest indicators over people's heads. D=< And as for spoilers, there is no story to it. However, some of the quests are hilarious to read, like the sauna robe quest where the kid steals his dad's porno book. I didn't believe Jake, but it is indeed a porno. OH FUX I SPOILED IT!

Explosion = best mob skill (6-hitter) in the game, just a bit slower. It has the range of 2 furies (one left one right) and probably could be cast in about the same time it takes a spearman to do 2 furies. You may argue, but I think explosion is the best mob attack in the game (damage-wise. Ice strike is the best as far as range/sniping goes. Don't even try to say Dragon Roar, cuz the stun and huge HP cost makes it hurt too much to be spammed).

And for the record, I think Buster is a way better attack. Stronger, and it's a lot more realistic to line up 3 enemies than to line up 6, so you're more likely to get the most out of it.

Zeco is probably the best spear in the game.

http://www.hidden-street.net/items/spear.php Serpent's tongue = the best for a while. Still normal speed rather than slow, but higher attack and way cooler looking. 84 atk blood snowboard (also normal speed) beats all for spearman weapons in gMS, especially if you got some good scrolling on it.

Oh, and go hybrid or partial hybrid. FA is nice now, but is completely worthless to you once you become a dragon knight. It's better to suffer for a little while for a bigger reward later.

I gained 30% in 2 hours at Nependaths... Found Pansy Earrings. I think I'm going to call it a night. Nependaths level me so fast, and the drops are half decent too. Still looking for a red nap...

Verr, here's the thing. As a Dragon Knight, you will want to have mastered both spears and polearms. One attack for the DK does nothing but stab, the other does nothing but swing. Spears = better when stabbing, polearms = better when swinging. What hybrid DKs do is master both weapons and switch depending on the situation and what skill they want to use. If you do max FA for spears and still want to be hybrid, you're going to have to sacrifice something, which will probably mean getting fewer points in booster so you'll need to recast it more often.

Just warning you, most quests in MS are not easily done by people who meet the minimum level requirements. Usually, it's best to do a quest 5 levels after you first get it so that it's not ridiculously hard. Especially the quests that involve getting Jr. Necki skins, which you won't be able to hit easily for a LONG time, unless you're a bowman.

level 36. What a terrible level for me. Just realized I got behind in luk, so I put 3 luk and 2 int. And I have to save my SP. So basically this level is the exact same as last level except I need 20k more EXP. ugh.

So you mean I will have to change weapons everytime I want to use a different skill?

EDIT: The dragon knight's skills are all separated in 2 categories. One for Spear, one for Pole Arm. I don't see what's the problem with me maxing only one type of weapon.

Decided to make a another character (warrior) cause I can't make up my mind on what I wanna be. I keep reading this topic and it keeps swaying from wanting one job to wanting another. Level 12 right now, training seems to be going better this time through.

Once I get better dexterity I'm gonna start hunting green mushrooms and axwood, my strength is OK.
