How do you get into the testing hall?

    No clipping?

      Re: Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

I posted it before. It's only accessible from typing 'coc testinghall'.

I'm on the last of the Daedra quests just to get some closure and, of course, the game develops a bug that won't register soul traps anymore. Of course that's exactly what I need to do in this quest so rofl lol go me.

GG Bethesda. Let's hope your patch fixes all this crap.

        Patches?

        Bethesda won't release patches.

They'd rather release $2.00 mods with fixes.

They will release a patch, but it will be a similar story to Morrowind where we suddenly got "Morrowind Game Of The Year Edition" which fixed most bugs, so be expected to buy the game again if you want the patch.

I was under the impression that what you got with the GOTY edition was the patches (which are available on the site), game, and expansion packs.

                Re: Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

Yes, the game of the year edition included both expansion packs. If you wanted to get half the patches you would have bought Morrowind "Gold" which didn't include the expansion packs. GOTY was the 3rd release of morrowind.

I've slowed down playing it, as I want to make it last a long enough time (at least into and through summer) so I have gotten a few classic games (Super Ghosts'n'Goblins, Golden Sun I & II, Tales of Phantasia, Ogre Battle etc), along with SM, to keep me occupied.

                  Fun thing to do:

                  1) Go to Hackdirt.
                  2) Find a trapdoor to Hackdirt Caverns.
                  3) Slaughter EVERYONE.

Even I've done that Tokzic =[

...but then I felt bad and killed all of hackdirt so nobody had to feel any sorrow or loss anymore.

There's a quest involved with this. Do it before killing everyone.

It begins in the trade goods store in Chorrol.

Yeah, I did it. What a wonderful reward, too - eternal friendship!

Well I've stopped my level 25 thief for a little bit. I realised I was wanting to use magic a lot, to the point where I was using low level spells to get +5's to intelligence. Instead of that I made a high elf mage, sign The Apprentice. Screw the weaknesses I can fix that with enchanted armour later. For now I start with 300 magicka, most stuff can't get near enough to hit me. Just doing the arena again for a bit of cash, then I'll buy some spells and go through the mages guild so I can start enchanting stuff.

                          Magic = Hot.

You know what I found out while on vacation here?

There are no bathrooms in this game.

I can understand my character not ever eating, drinking, or sleeping, but no bathroom breaks?!

                              What the hell.

In the 500+ hours I played Morrowind, this did not cross my mind once.

But in MW/OB you do eat, you eat lots, and you drink potions, or mead, or cheap wine. Though in MW you actually "got drunk" and in OB nothing happens. Also, you go to the toilet while "waiting" or "resting", you just don't see it. That's why "waiting" in someone's house isn't allowed most of the time, because they don't want you pissing up the walls.
