It's all good, been super busy lately and whenever I take a break from work to log on my girlfriend logs on asks to play with me with her weak monk.

In this post complaints about having a cool girlfriend.

Either way your monk is ridiculous and I'm just holding you back until I get a few more pieces of gear and get my gems upgraded. Those exploding palms, holy smokes.


I should add that Razor guy and make him powerlevel my wizard though.

same except i only got 1 and it has min crit roll and elite% roll and bad dex

wiz is getting a new set in 2.2, and I'd imagine also buffs since the set doesn't actually seem that good

Lol I deleted my post because I figured you guys were still satisfied with the game and didn't want to blatantly hate on it, but yes, broken game is broken
I spent thousands of hours on it back when AH was up because the thrill of the hunt was intense (at least for me)
But no trading made me hate it
D3 + d2jsp was too fun man
Now there's like 2 things to do if you want to get items efficiently
Totally just a casual console game now

the approach to gaming changed too much in the 10 years between d2 and d3, i really think that's all it is

The game is still flawed but I honestly think in its current state it's way better than D2 and it's certainly way better than it was in the AH days.

I remember D2 being amazing but having played it last year it was extremely slow, tedious and rather boring. I like the pacing in D3.

It's pretty dead but, I like coming back for seasons. I love the changes to DH this season.

d2 and d3 are so far away from each they're practically incomparable
d2 had/has a huge following and when d3 came out, it threw out everything that made d2 "good," so the people who were anxiously awaiting d3 for 10 years, were obviously upset because it wasn't d2 with updated graphics. and the people who now enjoy d3 are fans of fast-paced combat, and there's a satisfying feeling you get from totally steamrolling over mobs. it's a different satisfaction than what you got from d2, but it's a satisfaction nonetheless

the real money auction house absolutely fucking blew (and this is coming from someone who bought a laptop using the money made from selling a few near-bis items)

The combat in d3 is definitely the strongest point, so it's still fun, I just wish there was more diversity. A lot more. I'm also one of those people who will never be satisfied with what they do, so there's that
Choof hit it on the head, I just want a new d2. Most everyone I played with was just waiting around to see if they'd put back the things that made diablo a successful franchise in the first place
