cool. I am resending MOLC. I think Wyde was right. I changed the one section that had just holds and I layered the drums with mines. Stepped the drums. It's a bit cooler now. THE SYNC IS NOW EVEN MORE SPOT ON SO NEXT PERSON WHO SAYS ITS OFF IM GONNA KICK IN THE NUTS kthx

Double steps are good if they're actually implemented correctly/appropriately. I thought BEAUTIFUL ANGEL and Daite Senorita were good example of intelligent application. I only criticise their use in the rest of the submissions because in those cases they appear to be mistakes. That includes Sogo Kigyo Shugotai Tenpa. It's no big deal though, because that file is awesum.

            Re: Solar Eclipse Pad Pack

Dang, some of those files sound good. I need major tips on how to improve. Being shot down by two judges kind of hurt... *mopes but then smiles* Well, a bugged editor I was using must've shot out copies of itself. And by the end the song looked quite weird but apparently some of my friends (avid FFRers) have gave me thumb up. But I posted it without realizing that pad and keyboard run differently, unless you have four feet of course XD. Dang, I need to get some more tips from people to improve. That link that....errr.... buizel8888 sent me was perfect but still not enough for me to improve my skills.

Well, all excuses aside. Are you also allowing banners for the pack to be submitted as well, because I'm 'okay' at created stuff. Who knows. I might create something you adore. But, enough chit-chat. I think I should be working on my second submission to be sent in...

              Re: Solar Eclipse Pad Pack

If you would like to make some banners/backgrounds, you are more than welcome to (if you are making them though, please submit a matching banner and background for the song). It takes time to get good at making simfiles, whether they are for pad or keyboard. Just keep trying and eventually you will get the hang of it. Believe me, I don't think one person has ever gotten their first file into a pack (not without a complete overhaul anyways), and this excludes joke packs.

Errr... would you like one that actually had some kind of 'worldly' theme to it. Let's say one with a solar eclipse?

Well, you know I wouldn't mind both. But my skills are still limited. So, I will not be a MAJOR contributor but I want to at least put some good stuff into this pack. *works on pack banner with 416x164 dimensions*

Files in the pack are not being touched. If you want to make gfx for a song, just send me a pm or something and I will get you the mp3. Pack wouldnt be much of a surprise if I let just anyone get their hands on the files, now would it

                          Re: Solar Eclipse Pad Pack

BABY P: I'm changing those DDRR minijacks to a DRDR column, and I'll use the two triplet idea Wyde suggested. However, I want to keep the freezes that go 1/16th past the start of the next freeze, since those 'force' movement in those parts. Not doing the crossovers there could lead to being completely screwed up for the hands.

BEAUTIFUL ANGEL: already mentioned the whole double stepping thing

DEAD END: Yeah, a little repetitive, but that's DEAD END for ya. Also, it looks like the chart is a little jack-happy with some 8ths, but that's because I alternated the foot you start the arrows after each jump on throughout the file. So, you start with your left after the first jump, right on the second, left on the third, etc.

Impronta: Yeah, this is quite repetitive. I need to pad test it to see if it's still fun to play in spite of that fact. Honestly, I think it should be alright, but I can't do much with this song in terms of variety (at least in regards to the chorus section). I tried to have some pattern variety with the triplets going from two-arrow patterns (LDL, RUR, UDU) to three-arrow patterns (LDU, RLU, DRU), but I don't know how much that'll help.

Kono spoon: <3 LOLI RIPE. I'm kinda surprised this wasn't LOL REJECTED, even though the skeleton is solid. I don't normally make charts this gimmicky, but it was a spur of the moment thing a while back. The speedups are rough, but not TOO bad, since there is a small stop at the end of the 640 BPM ones that follows a slight skip-ish sound in the song.

Marisa: lololol overstepped, but this chart is like 2 years old so whatever.

Sogo Kigyo: Yes, that double step was a mistake. My bad. I just fixed it by mirroring the first 18-19 measures before the doublestep. I'll send in the fixed .sm.

Due to accidental multi-post I remedied the issue by editing it with a new one *points down*

And, I knew what you meant. I would like to be of help, but my stuff isn't the worlds best. Just copy, cut, custom font and various cool things. I don't go to far outta my way because I just don't know how to do otherwise.

also I'm relooking over Zero's file, as well as Beautiful Angel.
I know in zero's file I mentioned right off that the double steps for the repeating lyrics part I DID like. The double step that irked me was an unneeded spin right before that. Zero that spin was stupid, get rid of it. The lack of holds in areas still bothers me, and yeah. Changing my opinion from a "rejected" to a "needs work". Not gonna help much, but its for clarifying lol.

In Beautiful Angel (and I really meant this in my review, so sorry about the confusion), the double steps are okay, its the mines that bothered me, and made it awkward to hit.
