On another completely unrelated note I would like to thank everyone for coming back, (can somebody say nostalgia?) and I am very gracious to all who are working on bringing the site back up to standards.

Temporarily fixed the levelrank page...Spent a long while pinpointing the problem: it's breaking because of a code to add a token. Gonna try to figure out why tonight.

We've spent most of the day load balancing MySQL as Friday night gave us some fun traffic issues to address. There are a few queries that need to be rewritten, and we're upgrading our architecture so SQL can fully access all of the memory we have on the server.

Ads have also been removed in the meantime as they are causing loading issues.

Does this mean that the song library (FFR Backend) will be built in an SQL database instead of an XML file?

no it means SQL was only using about 4GB of memory on our server and we'll have it using about 8GB after tomorrow.

Fixed photos a bit more, still cosmetic problems that need to be addressed on them.
Fixed random thoughts not loading if the thought you are viewing is your own.


And that's all for tonight. PHP issues are about to get sorted out, so getting the network content such as MP and Chat will be next on our list.

a few suggestions of things that needed to be changed/fixed before the site went down:
-add purchased songs to the song list
-add difficulty 13 to the song list
-fix all time games played list

seeing as these are minor issues compared to what is being fixed now I understand this is not priority.
