EDIT: I tried again with Safari, and it caught an error while trying to load the comments page (it failed to load) of my newest random thought:

That is a random scrap of code left in a piece of the vBulletin caching engine. I removed it, but it doesn't appear to be related to your main issue.

Best improvement = forums speedup.

Yeah, a lot of queries were timing out because of old php settings. Fixing those resulted in a number of speedups.

Yep, I'm going to work on notifications tomorrow. I had to disable the notifications code to get profiles to work.

Also, Top Grand Totals page is fixed.
