Quit making alts, ppl!

Seriously :<

What's the point? Not only does it hurt everyone worse at FFR than you, but it also hurts you in the long run.

If anyone has a good reason to have an alt, please do tell.
Not making this thread because I'm personally effected, but I kinda think it's BS how some people (namely Ziergd-Yuyuko) are getting all kinds of high end AAAs and +1ing everyone's rank.

Good reason: Compare scores from your two accounts.
Example: Account 1 = Spread Scores
Account 2 = Index Scores

Bad Reasons: Evade ban.

But don't you realize that when you do that, you're disadvantaging every player who is worse than your weaker play style? Why can't you just play index on your normal account and compare it to the score in your levelranks (Assuming your previous playstyle was spread)?

As a suggestion, is there a way to only allow one account to record scores per IP address? Therefore, if an alt plays, they won't have their scores entered in the high scores, but can keep their ranking for whatever intentions they have while creating the alt.

EDIT: Chris brought a problem that I should've considered. Let me try to think of something else.

Night and Day
Master Maid
Big Blue
Piano Etude (Gymnastics)
Time to Eye.....
The Adventures of Lolo
Various other 11s

and I personally am getting screwed on all of those songs.

kmay: legit reason is legit. I don't mind making an alt for the forums or for novelty, but when it's an alt made to play FFR for scores it kind of irritates me.

Yuyuko-sama was made to see how long it would take to fill FC/AAA bar again. And I'm not going to reveal who it is (although it's kind of obvious at this point, and it isn't me)

So far I haven't seen anyone go purely for tier points. Some alts are made to test specific things, like how Sprite made an account to see if it was possible to get Tier 1 by playing each tierpoint-worthy file only once.
