It's sad but I almost like this better than FFR... Not the fact that it uses 6 keys but simple feature like 60fps, easy config and a custom speed mod. I also think I like the menu better. It's simpler, faster, no music, more space, no multiplayer when you don't want to play, more fluid... Just what I want. It's sad to see that those small change aren't made for FFR...

I'm excited to see how this all plays out!
The only slight problem I can see is that all the submitted files will most likely be higher level, and soon there'll be a TON of files to play, while a majority are for the solords. Or just having a TON of files to play in general is a major problem. :POriginally posted by Jem

Considering that most people are new to both 6 key playing and stepping, I would imagine that it won't be too unbalanced.

eventually we're definitely going to need a way to sort all the songs, but for now a single list will do
I'm also highly encouraging people to step easy charts in general because I am going to be VERY strict for this batch right from the start. I'm going to make sure that no crappy files are going to get into keybeat, ever. if you step easier charts you have a much higher chance of getting your file accepted.Rhythm Simulation Guide

What are we gonna do about the permission issue?
Just do it like Stepmania and not give a **** or get permissions for all the artists.
Also I guess when submissions open I'll create my first Solo File.
