    1. having to scroll all the way to the bottom of the song list or go to my profile to check my tokens or to the token page breaks the flow of the game completely for me and is really slow and tedious

    2. when i AAA files in bulk i just go by difficulty and when i go to the token page to unlock something to learn i need to AAA 4 files in a specific order that i have already AAAd is very frustrating

    unrelated, another request i have is a premade queue which has unplayed files by difficulty rather than just random unplayed files

      I just mean that the token that you didn't unlock says in-game what you need to do to unlock it, so you'd be moving the text from where it already is to somewhere else one click deeper. It's only of use to find out what the unlock condition was after you already did it.

        If I'm understanding correctly the request is to have the token and unlock req's listed on the song you would play to unlock, not the token song itself. So in the example, Spontaneous Hydroxide (v1) would have a token icon that would tell you "hey do X on this song to unlock v2" instead of having to find v2 later on and learning you needed to do something on V1 to unlock it.

        I'd be curious how Rocket League handles this, you can view by console for your rank leaderboards, as well as your friend list or global. It might be pretty tough though with the amount of information that goes into determining the ranking information on the leaderboards.

          the issue isnt the fact that its a hard thing to implement or do, but the fact that actually making it has to conform to the constraints that are placed on how the leaderboards/FFR in general currently works. Its not like parsing and updating a massive amount of data is difficult, but considering how FFR works its pretty tough

          I mean, anyone has access to the API http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/api/ so theoretically it could just be made outside of FFR, but the API doesnt give enough info though... i've asked a few times if the api can be expanded but it never happens http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...0&postcount=31 way back I made my own api lol but idk if the site i hosted it on is even up, it was badly coded so kinda slow, and i dont think i still have the source code (i probably do but im too lazy to dig through old folders)

              What could be cool is an achievement system with a title or special color in your forum name that you can use. For example if you manage to get 2000 omniflags you can get your forum name in rainbow letters.

                      That's true we do have achievement tokens and unlockables already. What you could also do with titles is add a small subtitle beneath your name that you can earn through various ingame means.

                      For example your name is Psychotik, beneath Psychotik there could be a subtitle <omnipotent> for example (if you clear the 2000 omniflags)

                          You're missing a main element of battle royale though, which is a way for players to attack other players. If you put 100 players in the same game playing the same song it's not battle royale, it's just a big mp game.

                            It's probably possible to implement some kind of attacking that would activate similarly to how Guitar Hero would use Starpower. That, and I sort've have a feeling Velocity has probably experimented with mods and gimmicks in all the time he's worked on the engine. Even if he hasn't there's always simple ideas like changing another players receptor spacing, size, scrollspeed or the chart structure itself to add hands or force mirror. eg:Players X, Y, Z play a song, X and Y AAA the generated attack section, Z does not and receives the attack.

                            It's not like this is something that would ever happen, I'm just kinda considering how it would work if it did happen.

                            Edit: Not to be a complete ripoff and I'm sure you already knew where the inspiration came from, but here's a video to show the kinda of thing I'm imagining anyway

                              Yeah, I mean there would be plenty of ways to approach it. My point was moreso that for it to be battle royale it'd need quite a few things implemented and it's definitely not trivial; the lag too, like you mentionned, is probably the main obstacle.
