Re: Value of the credit and credit sinks
...and those who earned the credits rightfully get screwed. Sorry, but I don't approve of a complete wipe. While a lot of the forum community has gotten their credits through events, there are a few people on the top 200 of scoring who rarely (if ever) frequent the forums and have a really really high GTS. I feel sorry for evil smoke (37 billion and THREE POSTS on the forums?) if the credits get zeroed out, because he straight up earned his credits.Awesome. Here's to hoping the gambling hall can stay (glitch free)!
This. After a couple of months of people buying stuff for creds, tournaments giving out millions at once, and gambling hall (if still enabled), it'll be back like we have it now, just with different people being rich and a bit less credits overall. And all the people who did legitimate hard work - tournament and event wins, profile creation, and so on - to get the credits they currently have will be totally screwed over.
This is the kind of thing that you simply shouldn't do unless there is unanimous agreement, and there won't be. You will find someone who will not want their credits gone. That's why I advocate the (GTS / 50k) - (total shop expenditures) method, because everyone still keeps credits and you remove an assload of credits out of the system anyway. Resetting to zero seems stupid.Last edited by TC_Halogen; 12-15-2012, 03:52 PM.Comment

Re: Value of the credit and credit sinks
I'd like to thank everyone I stole credits from for letting me achieve this milestone.

Re: Value of the credit and credit sinks
resetting any credits back down would be stupid, some people worked hard in tourneys and stuff to get large amounts, and just cause a couple fools mess around with the gambling hall does not mean all of ffr should have to pay for it ~_~Comment
