I still suggest that Raw scoring should at-least be implemented to Tier points.
So we keep the uniqueness(arguably) of FFR's combo scoring and the nubs can get their silly mashed FC, but will not receive a high tier point.

Considering how the raw_stats levelrank sheet looks like and that TPs haven't been updated completely yet, this seems like the best option atm for implementation.

Question: If raw scoring was implemented tomorrow, what should happen to the levelranks with combo-scoring ranks?

Something that needs to be considered is whether or not it will remove a full combo from your bar if you get a higher raw score without a full combo. I believe that if you ever full combo it should be able to flag it with an astericks still to mark it full comboed even if your best raw score is higher and replaces the score in level ranks.

Even with the combo scoring I've had that issue, like I've played a song like thrash rather well and then miss a note in the trill at the end so until I can beat that score, I don't have a FC. Not a big deal though.

FFR has always used combo scoring and it will always continue to do that. There are other games which use raw scoring systems. Go play those.

FFR has always used combo scoring and it will always continue to do that. There are other games which use raw scoring systems. Go play those.

FFR may have always used it but that doesn't mean it can't be changed, I think you're missing that point.

Well, the raw scoring system is already planned for the new TP system which has been coompleted for months, but never worked into the site. Implementing the new TP system should be priority #1. It also offers the opportunity for newer players to earn TP sooner in their FFR experience, which may be motivation to stick to it.

We want raw TP! When do we want it? This year!
