Re: Rate Your FFR File
Yeah it's a joke, but the rest of my ratings are on par with how I think.
I'm the only person who posts and rates the way I do. I don't think it's fair to refer to me as "you people." You act as if no one else has a joke rating or two in there (Don't even argue this, we all know someone or multiple people have done this with a chart rating.) Don't paint me to be the bad guy here because I jokingly gave a joke a 10. That's stupid. I'll go change it to the 0 it'd other wise get from me if you're really that ass hurt about it.
Yes because using a framer wall to add an uneeded spike in difficulty was a fantastic Idea. How it passed batch is still a mystery to me. But this sadly isn't the only chart.
If I'm so predictable: go through the list of remaining songs I have yet to post a rating on and try and predict my ratings. You'll be hilariously off. My ratings are not nearly as predictable as you think. You even have a numerical basis to give you an idea. Feels a little in your favor.
You all look like inbreed morons when you bother posting garbage like that, rate the charts the way you want to and let everyone else do the same. Don't worry if someone's ratings look unreasonable, maybe they have a different line of thought you're blind to. Get off your throne(s) already holy balls.Comment

Re: Rate Your FFR File
doesn't explain how it warrants a 1 (even subjectively), if anything you still have a grudge against the file
besides it's ****ing chik habit, what do you expect to be there?

Re: Rate Your FFR File
Not surprised, just annoyed.
I realized that there are other people who tossed in a few joke ratings but your 10 on vrofl happened to be one of the most apparent. I am referring you as one of "those people", not specifically targeting you as the general whole of "those people"...Yeah it's a joke, but the rest of my ratings are on par with how I think.

You can leave it as a 10 if you want since presumably a good majority will not joke about their ratings and hopefully your 10 will be insignificant. It would be nice if you take that specific rating seriously though.
I'm only annoyed because it's not fair to credit a sht file with a good rating when practically any other file should score better than vrofl's rating. Even as a joke, that is really insulting to those who spent countless hours trying to make a file as good as it can be. But hey, I expected this from you and I'm sure you expected this response from me.Last edited by iironiic; 09-5-2012, 06:42 AM.Comment

Re: Rate Your FFR File
iironiic's reaction is something I expected from someone else as a result of this.
The problem with this is that people don't have specific metrics as to why they're giving files a rating that they are, and those who are judging strictly on technicality need to find a balance between correctness and ultimately something that's fun. I got a lot of crap from people when I put a 7 on Mephisto Waltz, but it's an interesting file that actually has relevant steps toward the music and I find it enjoyable. I was -extremely- annoyed with people making fun of it, friends or not.
If people can't establish a scale for why/how they're rating things, they shouldn't be rating at all. I'm essentially rating files as I would rate them in the batch (with a 10 being a ++), but rather than using technical correctness, I'm splitting technical correctness and my thoughts of the file at the same time.
Also, if your intent is to simply belittle people rather than give legitimate reasoning as to why you gave a file a certain rating, you shouldn't be putting ratings either. I'm sorry Middie, but I still to this day can't understand why you butcher simfiles all the time, and I don't want to try and figure it out either. It's not even overly selective, it's just... honestly, I don't know.
EDIT: I'm so happy to see people following stride on Parousia - that file is quite possibly the most fun file on FFR at the moment. I remember my reaction to playing that file and I couldn't do anything but smile because I was having so much fun with it. That 9.4 average is bangin', kjwkjw

Added Razor and Jake to the spreadsheet.
Also, about the whole Midnight argument, I don't ask you to vote according to what FFR thinks about the file, but what you personnally think about it. Midnight has the right to give Chik Habbit 1.00 even if he despise it. Just be respectful and don't treat people like morons because they don't understand your rating.Comment
