It doesn't surprise me that people are rating lower difficulty files with lower ratings. I mean, look at where I am as a player; yet, I rated Eien Meikyu an 8/10 (p.s. this is a 1 out of 99 on our current scale). People need to use only partial subjectivity when rating - that way, the overall ratings will be a bit more accurate.
I'd probably rate easier files higher than a lot of harder files. Once you start getting to high FMO range and above, there are more and more files that just have a bunch of really awkward patterns and this stands out much more.

oh boy, it's STIFF, I'll stretch before I sit down at the computer so not I'm not as STIFF next time I step a file
Thinking about it, I think I will put the difficulties for each file in the spreadsheet. (and probably the length of the song too)
I would be able to create a graph to see how difficulties affect the overall ratings of the songs.
Not gonna lie, Power is by far my most favorite 1. The song is good, the stepfile makes sense, and it's basically a great starting file with no BS grace note gallops or complex colors.
I'd rate it a 10/10 myself

yo zek how did u rate every file, i mean metro, st scarhand, vrofl etc wtf dude u dont even have those unlocked how did u get an accurate rating
I've played vrofl before and I don't have it.
LD had a lot of the songs on the LD engine and vrofl was among them. Just like I also feel comfortable with rating speedvibe oni and here we go despite not having them. But I've played them multiple times.
There is also a fine grain of sand you can take from watching the bot play them. Maybe he did that. Which is still kind of wrong but at least he didn't go in with NO idea what it looks like.
Also I can tell you that the Scarhand chart in FFR now is very similar to the one that was / currently is in the df engine so you can get a very good idea off of that one if you wanted to.
Just my two cents. But like I said, ehhhh unless he can say where he's played them maybe he should remove his scores from those songs.
Playing the songs on a different engine is fine for me, only if the file is exactly the same.
And I do not recommend playing with a replay, it's not the same feeling than playing by yourself.

4. Made two graphs
This one is the average rating based on the difficulty. As you can see, the more difficult the file is, the best it is rated until it reaches mid-80s then it drops dramatically. Some inconcistencies are shown but in the end, it shows how biased the community is for hard files.
The highest rated difficulty is 78, which as an average of 7,69/10 (the lowest file from that difficulty is Piano Etude Gymnastics with 6.73... that is higher than 90% of the average rating of difficulties)
And, I noticed that the newer the files are, the better they are rated.
On this graphic, I added the best song rated for each difficulty. It pretty much shares the same pattern than the first graphic. The highest rated file at the moment is Pure Ruby (9.43).
I know, last edit was made 2 days ago and I'm just too busy with school to work on anything right now. I barely have time to play. It's not like I could control that either. :S
