    Re: Rate Your FFR File

hey Frank and Carlos, glad you enjoy my filez if I were to restep Color of Giggles, even if I kept a similar structure and difficulty, I would make some major changes. Honolulu would remain more or less the same.

yea, I can't rate for this because I don't really dislike any files that are properly synced. I really like this idea though!

            **** formatting

Also Google drive lets me filter and sort this any way I want

No name it would be cool if you could add how many times a file has been voted on

yeah, this is a quite important factor for the validity of average rating.

Since we're now a good number of people that's one neat idea. I'll add that feature tomorrow evening or saturday if I don't find the time for it.
I was also thinking adding a weighted average column that takes into account the average and the number of ratings but it's too early yet and would be useless as of now.

@ iironiic : I reuploaded the second sheet soon after you asked me but I forgot to told you in the thread. :3 Since I didn't found a way to do that automatically, I'll try to upload once every day.

@ TheSaxRunner : I'm writing on my iPod right now, so I can't add you atm and ... I need to know an email to add you. Take a look at the OP.

So, added the row column + extra row if I want to add something else.
(I'll upload the second sheet + make another one)

                            Just something I've noticed:

I think there is a common trend for people to rate slower files or files geared to beginners much lower than the more difficult files. I will admit that there are some horrendous easier files, but I'm sure the main reason is because of how boring it is to play through them. Do you agree with this? Why or why not?

I agree. I try to be fair based on if I like the song, and if the I think the steps "go" with the song.

My two cents. It's really not fair for easier files to be neglected simply because one has already AAA'd it and has found no incentive in playing the file again. You'd be surprised with how fun some easier files are compared to harder ones. I like to play easier files once in a while because I enjoy the steps and the music and as a game, I enjoy playing FFR simply because it's fun! It's a shame to see a lot of people be so driven in the competitive aspect (not that it's wrong to do so) which only allows them to see these easier files as a "waste of time."
