Re: Team Pokemon
A common misconception IMO, and is completely untrue. If anything, the Pokemon team is forced to become more creative as the number of new Pokemon increase. People mistake unconventionality with creativity. For whatever reason, a lot of people only consider naturalistic Pokemon as valid (e.g. a Ghastly is clearly a ghost, a Pidgey is clearly a bird) while anything outlandish in real life doesn't seem to count (e.g. Bronzong = a living bell; the reaction is as such: ridiculous, unreal, artists running out of "ideas").
The Mega evolutions we're seeing here is a different story however. I'm sure there is a complete intention to make only slight modifications, as these aren't true evolutions in the sense that such Pokemon do not remain in that state. This is just artistic control that defines "Mega evolutions"; it has little to do with a lack of creativity IMO.Comment

Re: Team Pokemon
I have also seen this while the option to choose original starters or picking the new ones?

Re: Team Pokemon
From what I've heard, you'll get a choice from the three new starters. Later on though, Professor Sycamore will give you the choice of the three original starters with mega evolution forms.Comment

Re: Team Pokemon
Wait, you don't Mega evolve the Pokemons that already existed with some methods like, say, giving them an item?
And thankies, JohnRedWolf

Re: Team Pokemon
Well you do need items.
From serebii.net:
...you will need to obtain a bracelet called the Mega Ring that holds a mysterious stone called a Key Stone. The Trainer’s Key Stone resonates with the Mega Stone held by his or her Pokémon.Comment

Re: Team Pokemon
Would someone mind doing me a siggy image for Meloetta Pirouette Forme?
I'd love to have one that fits with everyone
Also in other news since the OP is out of date, I've tried to quickly compile some way for everyone to find out the information they don't know if they'd like to, and not spoiling it for anyone who doesn't.
The videos go into great detail, so I'll leave that for the producer. Basic summaries are below of the content.
Original Announcement and Starters Revealed
Sylveon, Fennikin, Forakie, Xernius and Yvaltel. Damn.
The First Four Pokemon Revealed
Four Pokemon revealed. That aren't Sylveon, or the starters.
FAIRYGODPARENTS - I mean Fairy Type reveal / Pokemon Amie / Two New Pokemon

Pokemon Team / Pokemon / Professor
"Villainous Team" reveal, an introduction to more new Pokemon, and also we meet the new professor.
MEGA Evolution First Look
Announcement of concept and reveal of the following Pokemon getting mega evolutions: Torchick line, Lucario, ect.

Yeah I used the North America ones, if you need to find one for your country:
Go here and use the option on the right hand side to find your own country.

Re: Team Pokemon
It hit me hard in the face when they changed the voice actor for Ash in the show and they started to have more pokemon than people ever dreamed of having all at the same time, and that's coming from a person that has caught all of the first 151 pokemon. (Couldn't catch Mew, had someone trade it over to me when they got lucky with a Missingno. glitch.)Comment

Re: Team Pokemon
Saw some video review for the mega evolutions the other day. I don't think they say "mega" enough. "You need the mega bracelet and use it with the mega stones to get the mega evolutions for real mega battles!"....MEGAboopComment
