A long time ago, while playing on my Pokemon Blue cartridge, my master ball missed while trying to catch a level 28 Jynx. O.o

I'm not sure; for all I know I could have dreamt this occurrence. It could have been some kind of glitch, though. I have a memory that I was feeling kind of down while playing, so I decided to waste my masterball on a low-level pokemon. Surprisingly enough, the master ball failed, although I don't remember the event too clearly. I vaguely remember what the map looked like: there was a long, rectangular patch of grass on the leftmost side of the screen, with a street on the rest of the screen.

Are you sure it was Jynx? I thought you had to trade for Jynx in Pokemon Red/Blue?

Correct, there are no wild Jynx.

On another note, what would you guys think of an FFR Pokemon RPG using Pokemon Showdown? How many would participate if something like that was launched?

I have a google doc template and rules written up, I'm waiting for my new laptop battery to arrive. Since it would take way too much effort for one person to manage everyone's pokemon roster/levels/badges/battle record ect, each player would have to keep their own google doc. I made a template that can be used to start out, I would just need to link all of the spreadsheets in the OP once I launch it. I have rules typed up and ready.

I totally would not join a battle sim thing. Not really too confident in my abilities. Hell, I get chewed up in "I post, you post" battles.

Also, Darkshark posted this as his status on FB: "You can now say with certainty that you are better at Pokemon than the entire world combined." in reference to TPP.
