Started playing HeartGold again today... The third or so geodude I found was shiny, lol. I've been finding at least one shiny in every playthrough lately.

Just found this beautiful Absol earlier today after only 5534 REs (2767 REs) on the same game as my shiny Altaria! It completely scared the crap out of me because I haven't had a hunt under odds since February!

Here are its IVs: 5/15/18/31/24/20 (Rash nature and 31 Sp.Att IVs? lol...)

I'm still going to be hunting in route 14 because I want Tropius, Drifblim, and Shuckle very badly. I have ~10K REs on my Black version here with no shiny from this route yet, so hopefully one of them will come soon!

@CBR: I gave up on the Smogon ladder because it's impossible for me to climb out of the purgatory of sub-1700. (1200 on the PO scale) Everyone's using everything, and you never know if it's some scrub or an expert testing a new team. I actually started debates on whether it was possible to decay upward towards the median value of 1000. (It is, but nobody believed it)
