yay, I'm finally fairly satisfied with Momentary Life. I had some parts way overlayered and overstepped before, now it's pretty fun IMO.

too bad there's patashu's and they're practically identical

they're not even remotely close lmfao. some parts like the chorus are kind of similar I guess but the vast majority of it is totally different.

also t0ja's momentary life is cool

yep t0ra's is really fun. without holds it'll be quite different though, I think, but mine is definitely more similar to Tora's than my holy orders was to patashu's. the main difference is that I have far fewer jumps, since I only put them to the kick instead of all quarter beats.

also I don't give a flying **** whether the file has been stepped perfectly for SM because I don't play SM and I have no more access to any computer that can run SM well. if I like the song and feel it would make a good FFR file I will step it for FFR, kthxbai.

it's also always been my stance that if a file is great and fun in SM and FFR has permission, a similar file ought to be in FFR because it will still be great and fun, and thus improve the game.

it's mainly because i've seen a ****load of negative feedback where sm songs have been stepped for ffr as well. most people don't like to play the same song again in ffr. personally i don't care since i don't play ffr though so yeah : D

@ Tass or any of the other judges: What is (are) your stance(s) on converting your own SM files to FFR? I know you don't want to compare SM files to FFR files, but I know you don't want FFR files later being released for SM and was wondering if you cared if I went the other way. I have one or two files I just want to take the holds out of, repattern a bit to accommodate that, and send in.
