Sharpnel is to the Gabber/Techno genere what Dragonforce is to Rock.

Every song sounds exactly the same but with some minor diffierences. Except Sharpnel is less on this than Dragonforce. At least some sharpnel songs sound diffierent than others.

(Oh, if you really want a repititive sharpnel song, go look up Evangellion Generation)

What I meant was, most of the stuff I see on NG is loops, so it's like a minute long. That song was the same boring thing for 4 minutes. I kept hoping it was going to get better like EHHS, but it was like a flatline of excitement.

uh that's a really bad analogy

dragonforce is not only generic, but also repetitive. sharpnel songs do have a similar feel in most of his songs, but there are a few sharp differences in style between each.

by the way, that youtube link that silver brian listened to is NOT sharpnel. sharpnel REMIXED it. the original is by Jea. (this may be obvious to some, but apparently some missed this)

and actually, sharpnel did a good job of remixing it. as you may have noticed the original is pretty damn boring, and a few chords sound sorta weird. on top of that the vocals were too soft, the best part of the song. sharpnel took that and made it into something cool. props to him.

@ silver brian: while it is true that newgrounds has quite a bit of short loops, it's still composed mostly of 3-6 minute long GENERIC FUGGING DUMPS

        so you're partly correct

Umm...Isn't Jea an alias for Sharpnel?

              Note to the judges:

My submission is designed for use with a cmod (that is, if you didn't already know that).

You'll see why when playing it.

Wow how did someone make this video. I sent it to like 3 people along time ago -_-. In this video there is a layer missing from the audio. There should be lyrics everywhere.

No he probably means cmod because there are tons of bpm changes to get the right notes onbeat.

Or it could mean CMod for a noteskin switching gimmick.

there's a ton of BPM changes. which is weird... since we already have the same song in FFR, and there are 0 BPM changes in that file.

haven't played it or looked at the notechart beyond that, but *shrugs*.

did you know that the song was already in FFR?

There's quite a bit of note color manipulation. ;D

Anyway, I knew that the song was in FFR already, but I wanted to take a chance nevertheless.

How low and high can BPMs go on FFR?

I just made AOAO (Beauty Beast) mix for FFR, but it starts out 76 BPM

So FFR would run a song going at 1000 BPM?
