Re: A List of ALL the Songs in the FFR Queue

I'll have to replay it to see if I accidentally put real jacks in there... but a double tap at 106 that goes to the music (aka it's the same note twice in a row) is not a jack.

two 16ths in a row is still aaa'able, right.

its kind of like the 8th jacks at 200bpm in strangeprogram.

it is hard to get perfects on, but it is possible. correct?

Omfg, the 16th jacks are now replaced with 8th jacks. 8th jacks are always easy, so accept = true;.

I don't know the math to convert to flash frame rate, but I'd assume so. It's easy as hell in sm.

Re: A List of ALL the Songs in the FFR Queue

            112.5 bpm+ triggers short-jack syndrome
            150+ is potentially un-AAAable
            anything higher essentially means

            accept = false;

EDIT- thats for 16ths. If you dont know how to convert 8th jack BPMs to 16th jack BPMs, go back to kindergarten

Tass, I sent you HELLBEAT V2, it's pretty difficult.

Oh, so, do I still have a chance of getting it in?

I'm assuming this is the offending part in question... but I don't really know what tass means by "first" through "fourth" sets, since there are little double taps scattered throughout the file.

                Are those really considered jacks?

Unfortunately, by the strict rules Tass and Shash seem to love to abide by, they are. Admittedly, they do start to get hard to AAA, and that's freaking annoying on something like Coat Czech when you have a AAA and you get avmissed. So... yeah if at all possible, try not to use them because they can be annoying.

Well, that would seem to be ok.

I would certainly accept those jacks.

I wasn't sure if it was like 175 BPM or something crazy like that.

It isn't that big of a deal if you just make them quick taps.

I don't know why songs like Coat Czech, GGC, etc. made it into FFR with jacks galore, while this song at 106bpm is being rejected. I made a song that was 115bpm and had similar patterns to Coat Czech and the file was rejected. Hate to say it, but I think I'm seeing DOUBLE STANDARDS here.

hint hint: be a bit more flexible Tass AND Shash(lol) please.

to be fair it's not being rejected outright.

I'm curious though if maybe tass played it on shuffle or something because there aren't really demarcated "sets" of "jacks" anywhere.

Yeah, once, some guy made a stepfile similar to to World Of Dreams, and it got rejected, and he was like, "Oh, but it was stepped by Hi19 so nevermind." (Obviously to say that Tass and Sash have double standards. For god's sake, Hi19 has 11 songs in the queue. That isn't right.

Of course, I'm trying to have Hi19 only have 10 songs in the queue.
