Hm... okay Tass a question. It seems like some of my files so far have been a bit too either layerd or streamed for FFR. Here is what I am thinking you are looking for (correct me if I am wrong):

1. There aren't THAT many jumps
2. You basically follow 1 or 2 melodies throughout the song
3. You make interesting patterns/ not so much stream
4. It's fun.

Is this about accurate?

skybeam... 1 is definitely correct. since jacks don't usually register properly on FFR, we try to have as few as possible. if the jacks FIT PERFECTLY, use them by all means. but if there is another equally acceptable placement of the arrows instead of the jacks, use the other instead.

2. a file shouldn't be all over the place. it shouldn't vary from OMG FALL ASLEEP EASY for the 1st half, then OMG UBER HARD for the 2nd half. keep it consistent, or fairly consistent, throughout.

3 and 4 go together. for the most part... a song that is 1 big giant stream isn't all that fun. a file SHOULD be fun. so if you can make it more than just one boring old long ass stream, go for it.

Debating whether I should do Revo v2...
Or if I should restep a cool song that has offsync blue note steps, like Salad for Your Tuesday...
Or if I should restep Destiny, becuase the file by i_love_you is the biggest dump ever...
Or if I should not make any v2s at all.

There's no way you're going to do a Destiny v2 when v1 isn't even released to the public yet. You'll have to wait AT LEAST a few months on that.

Revo v2...go ahead, I don't know. I think a Terror From Beyond v2 would be cool.

For "Absence": I got rid of the Jack, and Fixed the middle part right b4 it so it followed the melody.

If there is something else that needs work please tell me or have Shash (or Rebirth) PM me about it. I dont want to go "fix" it w/o a game plan, since all my testers tell me that it's great as it is, I only want to change what you find off.
