Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
I was kinda thinking since it takes so long for the batch to be full at 120 why not make it --/50 and do it once a month, until there are more judges to help with the batch, because as of right now it takes a really long time, which is kind of annoying for people who really want feedback on their stepfiles.. See right now, I've improved significantly in both my level of play and my feeling of making stepcharts. Yet, im still waiting for one of my first stepcharts to be judged.. which is kind of redundant, because I by now already know what's wrong and right about my earlier submissions, but I don't have any chance to change it anymore.. This could be fixed by just having a smaller batch each month.Comment

lots more extra work on judges behalf. plus, if batch gets behind if it closes monthly, then judges also have pretty much no break. it's judge a month, then judge the next month, etc. plus, there's no guarantee that it'll be 10 files or 100 files in a month. 100 files in 30 days is very hefty, given that judges actually play through the files and give details on what's wrong. It's not a 5 minute process at all.I was kinda thinking since it takes so long for the batch to be full at 120 why not make it --/50 and do it once a month, until there are more judges to help with the batch, because as of right now it takes a really long time, which is kind of annoying for people who really want feedback on their stepfiles.. think more of the big picture than saying "wah /i/ want to get /my/ files in"

i can help you with your file, and there are also some judges willing to look at it regardless of the fact that they aren't judging it for a batchI was kinda thinking since it takes so long for the batch to be full at 120 why not make it --/50 and do it once a month, until there are more judges to help with the batch, because as of right now it takes a really long time, which is kind of annoying for people who really want feedback on their stepfiles.. Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
isn't the batch a bit behind now? they are effectively doing 60 files a month right now, if im not mistaken ,since it's 120 files every 2 months. And people are already sending their files in for the next batch, so technically I would say the judges are a bit behind right now.. So my conclusion naturally regardless of whether I want my files in would be to lower the workload and lower the time between batches.lots more extra work on judges behalf. plus, if batch gets behind if it closes monthly, then judges also have pretty much no break. it's judge a month, then judge the next month, etc. plus, there's no guarantee that it'll be 10 files or 100 files in a month. 100 files in 30 days is very hefty, given that judges actually play through the files and give details on what's wrong.
