If you have permission for the song to use in FFR: step it with only one chart (no multiple difficulties); no holds, rolls, or negative BPMs stops; make sure there are no steps within the first 2 seconds of the song (add silence to the beginning of the mp3 if necessary); then send it as an email attachment to [email protected]

Ever heard of Wine? With it you can successfully run any .exe in mac. The only program you'd need this for, though, is DDReamStudio. Otherwise, programs like Stepmania 5 or Audacity can all be downloaded as .dmg (I should know, I use a mac myself to step my songs)

        Hope this helped.

I missed that you made the song and not a chart . If you want soemeone else to step it you can post it in either this subforum or Musician's Jungle Gym and try to get someone to make a chart for it.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submissions OPEN)

I don't care for the fact that collabs are worth half that of a regular file. There's no incentive to work together with someone else to make a file. New stepartists (me included) don't want to work with anyone because they won't get their Stepartist title, won't get recognition on their profile, and won't get full points.

Right now collab files are a penalty, instead of being encouraged. In my opinion, bringing two unique stepping styles to refine one stepfile is worth more than a file made by one individual.

I want to step with other people, but I don't feel I want to do that because FFR treats that as a handicap.

Sent both my files. Even though they both will be rejected, you may crush my file but you may never crush my dreams.

If you are involved in 3 collabs then you will get your step artist title (iirc). They just don't count towards your SAP to raise your submission cap, so yea I understand the reasoning for them being a handicap of sorts if you're a person wanting to get more into the batch as you progress as a step artist.

Speaking of collabs, I heard that if more than 3 people collab on a file it'll be credited as "FFR All Stars", is there any way we could change this to say, for example, "Team Pony All Stars"? We're planning something like this so it would be nice to know.

except it isnt because you arent putting in as much as as someone who stepped a file on their own. if you think that getting credit on your profile and having your fancy stepartist title is what makes or breaks stepping a collab file then you have your intentions all screwed the **** up. you dont step a file to get recognition on a forum you step a file because you enjoy creating things yourself and other people will enjoy playing. if you care more about the title than you do about stepping then please dont step anymore
