Naruto... Yep, it's as repetitive as any other shounen anime that anyone will ever watch. It got boring for me around... say.... episode 10. Naruto isn't worth my time. 24 minutes an episode + 215 episodes = a LOT of time...wasted. (All the 'good' anime are usually short with a precise storyline, like Death Note, and Cowboy Bebop. )

You do know that Squeek, the guy who runs Media, considers One Piece to be the greatest television show ever made, right?

What could you possibly NOT like about One Piece? I consider it impossible to dislike One Piece, so please let me know what about the show you did not like.

Oh, and if you saw it in English, then I laugh at you. That's not One Piece. That's "4Kids presents: Bastardized Anime #417"

And if you saw it in Japanese and consider Naruto to be better, than you have absolutely no taste whatsoever. That is impossible.

Although One Piece isn't one of my favorite anime it is way better than Naruto.

Also Squeek is right about the english dub. It's nothing compared to the Japanese version.

Going to start watching One Piece tomorrow. I now got enough episodes to sit down with a drink in one hand, food in other hand, whack the show on and enjoy.

Naruto isn't really that great of an anime. It's okay. Far too repetitive like Inuyasha. It, like most anime was butchered for North American audiences. I didn't exactly care for the original Japanese version though. I only wasted my time watching up to episode 42. Much like Inuyasha it's an anime that doesn't end.

Nice. I agree with you though. Call me crazy, but I liked the dubbed version of One Piece even more than the Japanese original version of Naruto. I haven't seen the Japanese original of One Piece. But I'm convinced to watch it now. Thanks.^^

Just a tip from someone who knows: you won't be able to stop watching mid-arc. If it's late and you need to go to bed tomorrow, make sure you at the end of the arc you're on or episode 30 at the latest.. Everything up to that episode is short. Episode 31 begins an arc that doesn't end until about a dozen episodes later.

Trust me on this one. You will not be able to sleep mid-arc. You'll lie awake in bed going "WHAT HAPPENS NEXT"

Chromer: edited out potential spoilers.

It's Skypiea after Arabasta. There are a few episodes in-between for a smooth transition, but at about 144, the new arc begins. It ends around 200.

I've noticed Naruto is especially guilty of causing kids who could possibly grow up to be normal to become stupid and head down the road of cultrually insensitive otakudom.

I respect the people that watch anime without obseesing over it/trying to force it on others, but the idiots really ruin all the fun.

The "obsessed retards" likely aren't into anime in general. They seem to always be attracted to whatever the current show is that cartoon network is whoring. Before it was DB/DBZ.
