I don't know. Personally, I see the unending short-term goal of Naruto as being incredibly lame. Naruto is hardly moving toward his goal.

The only character I ever enjoyed seeing was Shikamaru. Make an anime about him and I'll watch it.

Or, y'know. They'll just keep putting in retarded people to get in the way of Naruto and he'll get his ass beat...but OWAI HE USES DA 9 TAILS'S CHAKRAAAAAAAAAAAAAA and it just kind of repeats itself.

i quit watching naruto there are over 300 episodes. my friend has watched them all he plays ffr but not sure wats his username/... i just watch full metal alchemist and Eureka 7 + ghost in shell: stand alone complex, they dont sucks like naruto and inuyasha becuase they acutally end at some point.

There aren't over 300 episodes. There are currently 208 episodes, 3 OAVs and 3 movies.

Ha! If any of you had a brain, you would know to watch the anime up to where Naruto and Sasuke do battle all DBZ-like and ****. That's where the MANGA ends and the THREE YEARS LATER... stuff begins. If you watched any of the fillers you are an idiot and must be shot on sight.

However, the manga is far superior to the anime. I'll admit there are some good things I like about the anime:

1. Rock Lee vs. Gaara

2. Rock and Gaara vs. Kimimaro

3. Konoha trying to find out what Kakashi looks like. XD

Other than that, the anime sucked. However, I'm hoping that with the start of the 3YL arc, that it will finally get good. But, I digress.

The whole "shounen anime" argument is not really valid because in ALL anime, there is an enemy that needs to bbe defeated in order to bring rest to the show. Now when I say "enemy" I mean that in a metaphorical sense. Take Love Hina for example. Great manga, horrible anime. Keitaro's "enemy" was trying to overcome his loserness in order to get into Tokyo U.

Now, about Inuyasha, 265 episodes pass and they still don't kill Naraku.

That's gay.

DBZ, all they do is kick ass and get even more powerful.

Not as gay as Inuyasha but still gay nonetheless.

Naruto Anime - Good until Episode 143. Gay afterwards.

Naruto Manga - Godly. Especially since Shikamaru kicks ass now.

Case in point, the manga of Naruto shows the characters development (CD? In MY shounen manga?) while the anime ****s fillers because they know people will go out and watch and shell out the money for the merchandise. Naruto in general does not suck. Just the anime. =P

Those fights you listed are in my opinion as well, hands down, the best battles to come out of Naruto. When the Sand team showed to help beat sound 5 was amazing. So I also think the Shikamaru vs Temari and Neji vs Jiroubou. Oh and the Neji vs Hinata too, there wasn't much to that battle but it was still very good. Very fluent. Naruto does have that though, the fights are very well animated and are very gripping. I also think the music in Naruto is really good too. Naruto does have fillers that I think can and should be scrapped apart from one or two which were very funny (Konoha trying to find out what Kakashi looks like). Im not all that fussed though. I stopped watching after 140 odd but I do plan to keep watching. I do like the show.

This is the thread for any and all Naruto discussion. It cannot be discussed anywhere else. It cannot be mentioned anywhere else. It cannot be referenced anywhere else. Do not even speak of its name anywhere else.

If there is a Naruto post outside of this thread, I will merge it in here and warn you not to do it again. Yes, I even mean in the "Favorite anime" threads that keep getting re-re-re-created every three weeks. Frankly, if your favorite anime is Naruto, you haven't seen any real animes.
