1) Get a good keyboard.
2) To gain reading ability / speed, practice your way up to being able to do HSMP files (Hard Super Megapack 1-11) on Stepmania. I'm talking about dumpfiles and hard shit.
3) To gain accuracy... practice hours everyday on FFR. Don't think about analyzing - just play for fun! Go join a tournament in a division higher, even two divisions higher than yours and try to compete against them. Play only VC+ songs that you enjoy listening to. Heck, play only FMO+ songs that you enjoy.
That's what I did and I got a massive skillboost in a span of 2 months a few years back. But I did play 4-8 hours a day consistently, sometimes 10.
"Hey Keywii" Said Foil in a raspy voice.
"Hey Foil. What's that you got there?" inquired Keywii.
"Oh, just my cock." Replied Foil.
"That just will not do." was keywii's response as she lunged for the scissors, pulled the blades apart, and clamped them down on the base of foil's shaft. Blood start gushing out of the wound where his penis used to be.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Yelled Foil in horror.
"Don't worry. I'm a wizard" uttered Keywii. And with that, Foil's penis grew back.
Dossar's legit, but he used to be BS back in the day. The absolute worst thing you can do is try to defend an obviously BS score, because it'll cause certain people to think you're BS *no matter what* even if you turn over a new leaf and play legit. Getting overly defensive doesn't help, either. Some people just have that Obama-birther mentality and will never change their opinions because trolololololol. Dossar's probably the best FFR player (and one of the best SM players) out there currently.
More on point: There is a very systematic way to improve your skills at FFR, and it's an area I feel is largely untapped by most players. This only applies once you reach the level where you can hit arrows reflexively without thinking about it (i.e. the memory-mapping in terms of eye/hand/muscle coordination is done and you can FC 9 footers without breaking a sweat).
I suggest breaking EVERYTHING out into variables you can test and measure. For me, I tested countless keyboards, different hand positions for different types of patterns, different playstyles, different input keys, different hand angles, different tap pressures, different speedmods, different sitting angles, etc. I also enjoyed breaking files down into isolated patterns I could practice. It's also beneficial to record yourself while you play because odds are you'll notice suboptimalities you had no idea existed. I'm too lazy to check how mirror scores are handled today, but mirror is also a good way to remove any bad-habits learned through muscle memory on particular songs. Figure out your optimal rolling, jacking, trilling, and jumpstreaming approaches. Looking at patterns differently is also a huge help when you can break complexity down into more palatable subclusters (e.g. runningmen patterns I think of as a series of triplets).
Above all else, TAKE BREAKS. I can't stress this enough. You might think "Oh, but I'm in the ZONE right now and if I come back later, I'll suck again!" Noppppeee. You'll do just fine later. Take a break and give your muscle memory a chance to unshake itself and your brain a moment of refocus. It helps more than words can say, and it'll keep any repetitive-strain injuries at bay.
It's a fairly long and involved process but it's what I spent a great deal of my time doing, because it was SO much quicker than just mindlessly whoring a file ad infinitum with a potentially shit strategy.
Also why is "summon" in quotation marks as usually that signifies an alternate meaning like for example last night I "visited" your mother but it really means last night I "fucked her in the ass" so exactly what is the subtext of "summon" because I am not sure I am comfortable with the implications

essentially skill at any given activity is a function of time invested, efficiency of time invested and a basic affinity for the activity in question for whatever reason (familiarity with similar activities etc.)
therefore i posit that dossar is not legit, just much smarter about being bs considering he's had 8 years to figure out how to become not blatantly obvious
also on a less facetious note, getting better at this game is really simple tbh if you take the above assumption as being true all you have to do is
A) play a lot
B) put your playtime to good use
A) is easy if you have time if you dont have time dont waste what little you have on this game lmfao
B) mostly involves thinking of stepmania like a sport
say pole vaulting since it's an easy analogy for me
vaulting involves 4 major components
1) raw strength, speed and stamina(physical conditioning)
2) technique (movement efficiency optimization)
3) control (mental conditioning(reading)/muscle memory)
4) focus/execution (essentially mental strength, dedication/whatever else you want to call it trust me ull need it)
1) I could do a detailed analysis of weight lifting optimization but it'd probably be lost on 99.99% of you nerds and the rest would already know it anyway. Basically step 1 is weight lifting ~stepmania style~. I'll give u a clue, when u lift weights to become stronger, u do not lift weights that take no effort to lift!!!!!!! (for all u ****ing idiots who think aaa'ing files over and over again makes u better at any discernible rate (unless u are ma freak then this is ok but not exist on ffr ?))
2) This is more complex but the essential idea is that every pattern and every movement that would otherwise be strictly done through only your fingers can be substituted for slower finger movements and wrist motions and/or forearm motions. Ex. a one handed trill can be converted from 20 nps to 18 nps by rotating your wrist longjacks can be substituted for wrist or forearm motions exclusively. Swings in polys can be achieved through wrist rotations and in really fast jumpstream one handed jumps can be substituted for a wrist and forearm snap down onto your keyboard. if u do not understand breakpoints and why maximizing efficiency is important you will most likely fail at life anyway so sucking at stepmania won't really make any difference. or maybe im biased because my job is basically telling people how stupidly inefficient they are at their jobs and why millions of people around the world are dying because of it.
3) even if u are stepmania iron man and theorycraft braniac if u cannot read the patterns and do not spent the time into developing the proper muscle memory u will never be able to achieve tru power. this is mostly a function of time spent but there are ways to improve reading very quickly. mostly it involves crap like blue planet 1.6 u figure it out geniuses
4) wow in practice u can aaa every separate pattern in (insert file here) but when u actually play it!!! u get crap score. Unlimited stepmania power is useless if your final execution is inept, just like vaulting 16' in practice is worthless if u only vault 14' in tournaments. Also u need a little bit of this thing to get anywhere in the first place since playing 25 nps files for 5 hrs straight takes some ability to focus.
congratulations even if u are just started today if u do all this properly in 2 years you will become as good as dossler thinks he is
also i have no idea why i even bother, or even rubix for that matter
when people ask for help on how to stop sucking they want a simple answer that involves no effort on their part and immediate results and the people who are more receptive to the idea of actual training are the top level players and doing it anyway
