Of course, non-Synth files are in Legacy for a different reason entirely... not because they are terrible files, but because they are blue. Pretty much everyone will have a Legacy song somewhere in their public levelrank.
As we're not planning on deleting them, or reskinning/resyncing them, it's also bad for the general image of the game to new players if one of the first few songs they play look crappy.
The Legacy genre also shows that the songs there are old, and part of the history of the site.
There will be a set of three rather difficult unlock requirements to get access to the three former Support tokens. Anybody who purchased the support tokens will keep access to them, and not have to do the unlock requirements.
REALLY don't like this legacy genre idea, I though the songs were fine where they were, no we'll have misc., secret, almost all the hip-hop and all the funk songs in one genre, it's terrible.
Subjecting newbies to synthlight files is what's terrible
Actually, subjecting them to what WE were subjected to is only fair. Giving them reason to easily go and AAA those songs if they were resync'd and colored would give them it easier than what we got.
Leave them the way they are. They are the biggest part of the history of FFR. That's what I say.
Plan = Yeah I know that place, and you're right on that. So that requirement is done lol but maybe, having something new with those tokens, idk.
Again, the original blue notes should stay the way they are, I don't see why changing them makes things better... We all had to go through trying them and AAA'ing them I feel its only fair to the veterans and new people even now to attempt it as well.
